Gone are the days when Ainge was supposedly running circles around everybody.

A Celtics-Lakers finals is just the sort of refreshing change of pace the NBA needs.

So is Ben Simmons

Always liked Jimmy Butler from his Marquette days. Crowder too. Herro dumping Wisconsin and going to UK because he knew Coach Cal would get him NBA ready was a great move as well.

There is no way anyone except the Lakers we're winning this year. The league wasn't and isn't going to allow it.

underrated headline.

I only saw them playing tough from behind the Heat.  They'd get close and even exchange a lead but the Heat would just pull away.  the Heat were really just the better, deeper team.

I didn't read the article but I suspect it says something about how Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are just above the age of people playing in NCAA final four and such but made it to the Eastern Conference Finals.  They're still 1 major player and some health luck away from having a 3-5 year Finals window.

That's why they replaced Rondo with genetically enhanced clone. Wake up sheeple

Scorpitron is reduced to a thin red paste: Gone are the days when Ainge was supposedly running circles around everybody.

Ainge is a 61 year old former athlete. He isn't running circles around anyone at this point, literally or figuratively. Probably still kicks ass on the golf course though.

Certain parts of Kentucky will be fervently watching this finals.

Wah wah, my team didn't win so it's rigged, the best team keeps winning.

Uh they won 4-1, they're just better than other teams, and I hate the Lakers. Also, let's enjoy LeBron right now before he retires soon.

Oh and Brad Stevens kind of got exposed as overrated. Him and Doc Rivers, overrated AF.

I honestly thought that's what this article was about. Doc is out.

This is LeBron when he doesn't have to be the best scorer on his team, and as a fan of basketball, it's amazing to watch. The dude's basketball IQ probably matches his physical talent, and I like watching a 6'9" guy occasionally running the offense out of the 3.

The Heat are going to take it to 5, because they'll get hot from behind the 3-point line one night. But the Lakers aren't losing 4 out of 7 to anyone right now, and I say that as someone cheering for the Heat.

I'm a Spurs fan. I'll be deep in the cold, cold ground before I pull for the Lakers. Just because I respect them doesn't mean I've got to like it.

I think the Celtics were exposed for being rather inexperienced.  I saw it during the Raptors series, but i'll give credit to Stevens.  He may not be the greatest coaching brains ever, but I saw Dwayne Casey coach for years.

I think really it shows how much Kyrie was a chemistry killer.

In bad news for Bucks fans, I think the East should be a lot tougher next year.  The Celtics are becoming a better team, after shedding Kyrie.  There's absolutely no doubt the Heat are much better than they were this regular season, and the young guys will probably be even better.  The Nets will have KD, and Philly might have decent coaching.

Would be nice if the Eastern Conference were almost as good as the West someday.  Well, again, a Bucks fan may not want that, understandably

Doc had Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett, and still needed Eddie House, Leon Powe, and James Posey (and Perk and Glen Davis and PJ Brown) to barely win 1 trophy.

We'll see with Stevens in the next 5 years but he wasn't a difference maker this year.

He is going to San Antonio or Philly.  If he wants power it will be the Spurs, if he wants to maybe win now and retire then the sixers.
