Probably shouldn't be thinking Arby's.

"But sir this is an Arby's"

stealing a dog is a crime with a built in punishment

One time I robbed an an Arbys at puppy-point.

They were selling the puppy, which basically means he stole money at knifepoint. It's not like they were out walking their dog.

WHY does everyone still keep going to Knifepoint?? So much shiat happens there!

/Same with their neighbor Gunpoint!

With craigslist you kinda roll the dice and get what you get but honestly who doesn't go to a CL arranged meeting without a pistol and/or some backup depending on the value of the transaction?

I've done maybe fifty Kijiji transactions right at my front door or even invited people inside. It helps when you live in a city outside the US.

Lockdowns just prolong it.  If you have a compromised immune system, or, are elderly etc, stay home.
But the rest of us should get on with life.  "positive cases" are just the way of those that want to control
you into keeping you scared.  If you want to wear a stupid face diaper, wear one.
Now, I've seen stupid advertising on tv for "get your own team face mask".  Good grief!

I'm not sure who's worse. The  robbing someone of a puppy in an Arby's parking lot or the person selling a puppy in an Arby's parking lot.

Sir, this is a thread about Arby's.

I wonder if the dog's breeder is KFC certified.

Idiots for doing transactions through Craig's List.  Everyone knows crime was non-existent before CL

Dog thieves need to be treated like horse thieves.

Our PD has a spot in front of the station for this kind of thing.  I was selling a camera and told the "very interested" guy who called about it that I would meet him there. Never heard back from him.

Now that Craigslist and their ilk have made puppy and kitten mills cottage industries, I can't find much sympathy for anyone involved in this story, except for the pooch.

Here's a thought. Don't be a "purebred" dog from a breeder for thousands of dollars. Adopt a stray at the shelter for the cost of shots and neutering. Then no one will want to steal your pet or your money and the shelters will go out of business.

The suspect demanded the puppy and the keys to their truck; however, the driver drove away.

I bet that led to an awkward conversation later on

Where you wear your diaper is your business i guess. You are overlooking the advantage of wearing a mask everywhere you can avoid face recognition software.

Study it out moran.

I think a truck beats a knife. Why not run him down?

It astonishes me that people will pay $100-500 to a backyard breeder for a puppy with zero provenance, when there are lots of puppies that can be picked up for $20 or even no money at all.

Heck, there's one guy who reposts in a nearby city every week that he's "looking for pitbull puppies, not papers, anything under $300". I highly doubt he's giving them loving homes.

"Safe transaction zones". Lots of cities have these now. They are usually at a police station, out in the parking lot, covered by camera, but not monitored. If something goes down, not only are there a bunch of cops around, but they have footage of the incident and any vehicles involved. If the person is unwilling to go there, then the transaction isn't legit. Every time I recommend that, the person on the other end of the transaction loves the idea. And no, Big Brother isn't watching you. The cops are too busy doing other shiat to care what you're doing, as long as it isn't a drug deal, or something else illegal.

Yep, just mentioned these in my post above. They are a great idea.
