Ruffles were a favorite store bought brand of mine when I was 10 years old and there were very few other varieties available in the New York metro area. These days, I'll pick up bags of Grandma Utz kettle chips when stopping at Pennsylvania rest stops. One time, a road trip companion asked, "Did you render lard in here?" as I was munching in the car. I casually said to her, "It's entirely possible." She had a few chips and never questioned my driving snack choices again.

Haven't tried those yet but I did buy Herr's jalapeno potato chips that I'm dipping in ranch dressing.

If you love the grandma utz they do ship across the country and I believe they sell them in a 52 oz box.

I took a screenshot of this. If I'm found dead in my foyer with an arterial blockage, you will be charged with manslaughter.

If you're craving a special flavor of chip, just buy your texture of choice from the store and quickly toss them in a pot of hot extra virgin olive oil with the herbs, spices, and other ingredients of your choice. I go with garlic, rosemary, and Parmesan. For the last one, freshly grated. Not the powdered Kraft shiat. Dry it first, though or you may get olive oil splatter burns on your forearms.

I'm so hoping "Numb & Spicy" is the name of your garage band.  Cover anything but I like that.

I think I must be the only person on Earth that hates potato chips. And any variety of flavored chips. I can't stand the flavoring powders. Give me plain simple tortilla chips and a good salsa. I do make an exception for Cheetos, though.
