He should be the one they send in to drag dumpy out of the White House after he loses.

Mostly, because he's likely the only person alive who could lift that fat f*ck.

I did laugh when I was shown the security gate he ripped out after he lost power and couldn't leave home.

As expected there is the inevitable "celebrities should stay out of politics" in response to The Rock's endorsement.

So... After the Reagan Presidency, the Schwarzenegger governorship, Cooter from Dukes of Hazzard going to Congress, and Ted Nugent, Kid Rock and Scott Baio endorsing fellow D-list celebrity Trump, what exactly is the problem with Dwayne Johnson's endorsement?

Good for the Rock.

Given who makes up a lot of his fanbase for his movies, this probably cost him.

If I was a celebrity, I would keep my political views secret. That is one to certainly alienate yourself if you speak your political views and potentially ruin your career.

always fun to see people freak out when a famous person they know ends up having a different political opinion from their own.  they just assumed they aligned because they liked the person and projected their own opinions on them

I mean I didn't freak out, but I was sore disappointed to learn about the personal leanings of The Undertaker and The Ultimate Warrior.

I think you might want to keep them secret anyway, just in case you become famous.

It's hard to pull the "nobody cares what celebrities say" card to defend a reality TV star. But I guess if conservatives were that self aware they wouldn't be conservatives.

I'm a time traveler from the future and I wholly support the judgement of President Johnson. He and Vice-President LaBeouf saved this nation from alien invasion in the not-too-distant future and it would behoove us to hear him now.

When my mother was still alive, I took her out to the movies every month. Sometimes my kids came along. My Boomer mother and Parkland generation kids bonded over the fact that the Rock will star in anything. They agreed that his movies were among the best and worst movies they'd ever seen.

My mother really loved his role in Jumanji.

He seems like a nice guy & all but something about the shape of his head or face triggers an "uncanny valley" response in my brain. Every time i see him on screen i immediately want to watch something else..Maybe itd be better if he wore a hat or had some hair or something.

As a result, ive never been able to get through one of his movies.

Is he actually any good as an actor?

Given that he clearly listens to coaches, trainers, and other experts to get where he is -- and good ones, if you can judge by his physique and success -- I suspect he'd listen to health and economic experts to solve national problems, too.

Better than you would expect. As another poster said he's been in some really good and some really really bad movies. Sometimes he gets Typecast but he usually in braces that

He's not likely to win any best actor awards, but he's usually very entertaining because he's charismatic, funny, and usually isn't taking himself too seriously.
