Just the other day, someone was telling me that 'some people are in a bubble, they're not paying attention, they won't vote'.

And I'm wondering, what sort of bubble can keep 2020 out?

Who tabulates and validates this data nationally?

Also, what guarantees are in place to ensure those actually get counted?

My biggest fear is that we have unprecedented early turnout, which is foiled by unprecedented ballot rejections.

Yeah, 2020 is sending used bubbles to a factory in Viet Nam, where they are being washed and repacked to be sold as new.

They had better start counting the votes now so the Election can be over and done with in six months.

I wish that were a joke estimate, but i am including legal challenges and sending the Marines into the White House to drag Trump's still warm carcass off to a military hospital to see if they can make him fit to stand trial or at least declare him legally dead.

Your guess is as good as mind:

a) Melania follows the corpse weeping unconsolably at the Pre Nupt that deprives her of her posh super-model lifestyle with the Ladies Who Lunch in New York
b) Melania follows the corpse trying to look serious but not quite succeeding because of the Pre Nupt she renogotiated after the California Elevator Incident
c) Melania follows the corpse on her cellphone negotiating a bundle in advances for her tell-all book of the Jeffrey Epstien modellling days and how she met Trump (Volume One of a Three Part Exposé)

In some states if there is an issue with your mail-in ballot they are supposed to contact you so you can get it corrected before the deadline.

That's slightly more than a 96.2x increase compared to last election. Obviously that pace cannot hold through the entire election since over 120,000,000 people voted in 2016, but the drastically increased voter turnout is a very good thing.

For the sake of comparison (source):

Trump's margin of victory in three key states --
Michigan -- 11,612 (electoral votes: 16)
Pennsylvania -- 68,236 (20)
Wisconsin -- 27,257 (10)

Total -- 107,105 (46)

And Jill Stein's vote totals in those same 3 states --
MI -- 50,700
PA -- 48,912
WI -- 30,980

Total -- 130,592

/America cannot afford another super-close result
//merely defeating Trump is not enough; we need to run up the score and obliterate him
///to say nothing of the down-ticket races, from House and Senate to dog-catcher

Have I mentioned?:

final tally: Biden 55 - Trump 41.

Approximately 850,000 of those 866,000 voters are voting for Biden.

No.  When they drag him out - IF they drag him out - he will be kicking, and he will be screaming.

I just got my voter's guide. I'm waiting with bated breath for my ballot.

That thing's gonna get a faster turnaround than a hicuppy Falcon 9 that just downed a shovelfull of sugar.

Hand delivered as always.

We got our ballots here in NJ last week. We'll be filling them out with a nice glass of white wine with blue food coloring and depositing them at the nearest in-county secure drop box.

People have been talking about the "Hidden Trump voter" I don't think they're exactly hidden. They seem pretty out in the open.
I work in a rural area, and I'm seeing more Biden signs than I saw Clinton signs four years ago. I think there are a lot of 2016 Trump voters that maybe ready to vote democrat for this cycle in hopes of ending the trade war with China and being able to get a good price for their crops.

Well, Donnie will lose the election.  He's been behind in the popular vote, and the electoral college vote, all summer.

Bad news, he's not even trying to win the election anymore.  He's trying to hold onto power after he loses.

Yes.  That is going to happen.  And it's one of the many reasons that we need to vote is such HUGE numbers.
Because we already know that a double-digit percentage will get rejected, booted, or otherwise ignored.

Small farmers don't deal with international crop sales. At best they get bought by another corporate farm who then sells that crop over seas or sold domestically. Or they just sell domestically. Small farmers are not part of that "China's not buying soybeans" problem.

The Woody Guthrie version is the best version.

My family and I all voted in person last Monday here in Virginia. We took my 80 year old mother-in-law with us because she's more than ready to throw the tangerine toddler to the curb. This was also my youngest daughter's first Presidential election. We all voted Blue from Biden down to our local government.

Agreed, although the trough of price per bushel has recovered these small farmers have had three shiat years in a row on the share they get of that dollar.
