Before looking at the headline, I guessed they were being major assholes.  Turns out I was right.

I'm beginning to think that if you create massive and impersonal bureaucracies where all the individuals are expected to act as cogs in a machine, it tends to reward and favor individuals who treat other human beings like disposable parts.

The important thing is that I will never stop, ever, until people from all walks of life have the opportunity to use these systems to project their psychopathy downward on their colleagues.

I was not aware that toxic leadership was considered a negative in the workforce. I mean, on paper and in the long term it's bad, but when you have a never ending supply of skilled immigrants to burn through why exert the effort to be good when mediocre gets the job done?

Hire someone who understands how to design a decent multiplayer mode. The original Far Cry LAN party death match mode was damn near perfect and it's a farking travesty that they failed in properly bringing that experience to online players.

I never knew Vaas was based on a real person.

"He is capable of explaining to you that you are a genius, that your idea is wonderful, then to dismantle you in a meeting, saying that you are nothing but shiat, that your work is worth nothing, and not speak to you for a month," one source told the newspaper.

Those people almost never last. Eventually word trickles up to their bosses and they start getting laterally moved around or 'promoted' on purpose to keep them as far away from colleagues.

But while they are around, they are literally the worst farking people to work with or for. It's like being in an abusive relationship.

One of the few things I would say I'm pretty good at is that I don't allow people to talk down to me or dress me down. I will punch up if I have to. Years of childhood bullying will do that to you.

Don't take sh*t from people in a professional environment. If no one has your back, it's time to find another job. Isn't worth the additional stress and every ailment that comes with it. Pack up your sh*t and leave.

That's the game I'm playing right now, so your complaint about old news brought useful news to me.

I still can't believe Micheal Mandeau wasn't getting steady work in film and television until years later.  That performance and his in-game work was like watching a nightmarish Hans Gruber.

Yeah, I've given up on seeing Shauni and Peyj again. What a wonderful story line, that was.

Didn't know BG&E2 was a thing, but I guess it's not a thing anymore anyway.

Given the way it appeared to be going, I'm fine if BG&E2 is never released.

For Beyond Good and Evil 2? You go to hell and you die.

I wish people would stop trying to shove multiplayer into everything. It's almost as bad as loot boxes.

"How long is the game?"
"Hundreds of hours!"
"I mean, in non-user-generated content?"
"5 hours. BUT SO MUCH MULTIPLAYER"
