I'd much prefer a Bandai model of it, personally. Failing that I can just 3D print one.

Gubbo: Is hasbro hurting for money that they have to crowd source?

I see it as a way for a huge established company to subvert an idea meant to help small companies and individuals raise money for an idea that they couldn't find the capital for elsewhere.

Hasbro just doesn't take on risk, you know, that thing which is meant to be the key for a business and is why they are allowed make a profit

Neat toy, though, I'd like one of those.  I'm not going to kickstart a major farking corporation's product, that's ..... no, I'm not doing that; but when I see one in stores - totally grabbing one.

Crowd-funding works much better for companies like Hasbro, because most of the people supporting crowd-funding like Kickstarters treat it as a pre-order and then get upset because somebody's vanity project was to make a game rather than deliver a product.

Ah.

I don't really understand the Hasbro one, are you supposed to paint it, and then, just look at it?

Well, I am getting neither, but at least I understand, in an abstract way, what you can do with the LEGO one.
