Nevada perhaps, or Texas, or somewhere else.  He doesn't keep his story straight.  All I know is the whole "violating quarantine to restart his business and retaliating against employees who had health concerns because of the statewide quarantine shut down order because he's rich enough to get away with it" thing really tweaked the governor and a bunch of other people the wrong way.  Elon's earned the cold shoulder

That's the oil industry narrative, yeah. "Essential businesses" were decided on a county level and Gigafactory happened to be in the one county in that area that hadn't let factories reopen. There were literally factories on the same road that were allowed to operate. Where's all the vitriol for them?

Oh, that's right. Only Tesla is trying to upend the fossil fuel industry, so they get all the ire.

I came here to post something snarky about Ford quality, or the lack thereof, but it's going to be hard to top this. I'll just sit this one out and watch with morbid curiosity.

*golf clap*

My Mustang is 30 years old, and has ~240,000 miles on it. I have 3 people who want to buy it off me if I were to decide to sell as it's still in great shape.

GM and Ford are both crippled by commitments to their internal combustion supply chain.  There are SO many more moving parts on an IC car than an electric.  And the repairs are 10x more costly and frequent.  Electric motors almost never give out and there are very few moving parts on an EV.

Just for kicks, I did a search for new EVs for sale in my area from dealers. Guess what? Not a single Ford. Porsche, Kia, Nissan, and Chevy are the only makes (other than Tesla). If Ford is such a leader on electric cars, where are they? Right now, their commitment to electric cars is speculative.

You can easily find 3 trump voters too. Don't mean they're smart.

Even though I have friends who live there, I insist that it remain in Oklahoma.

Considering they got punked by Tesla, watching the remaining big 2 pretend they are superior is pretty funny. I'm not saying Elon isn't an asshole, but the big 2 have spectacularly failed to build the cars of the future, instead making more SUVs. Then Tesla just kinda... built the cars of the future.

Years from now, we will be cursing the auto manufacturers for farking around until the world burned.

But I thought Tesla was over valued and bound to fail. Right, short sellers?
