About time. A person can only serve in acting capacity for 200 or so days. I can only imagine how bad they must be if McConnell's Senate can't confirm them.

He only wanted the job because they promised him a pet burro.

So his wife made him take it.

I Trump is told the leader of BLM has been sacked I think he might get a bit confused...

I live in rural Nevada, where the common clay has hated BLM for decades because "the government can't tell us what to do with public land."

But they also hate BLM because they are all antiFa and also anarchist Marxists.

But they also Support the Troops by wearing Thin Blue Line flags to show their support for the other BLM.

So I wonder how folks will react to this news, or if it will even reach their news sources. Besides saying it is all fakenews.

cretinbob: Well if his nomination was withdrawn then absolutely get the fark out

I don't believe he was nominated to begin with, merely installed as acting director until a nomination was made and passed, which there haven't been any nominations made, because Trump is a lazy motherfarker who doesn't do his job.

Same goes for Chad Wolf over at DHS.

There's some law that states that no one can be in an acting position for more than 240 days, or some timeframe like that, and they're both well over that time limit now, along with quite a few other acting directors I think.

It's not about the Senate not being able to confirm.  It's about Trump wanting to be able to fire.

A department head that the Senate confirms has more protections then an acting appointment.  Specifically, the President does not choose a successor should the appointee get canned.  That follows a line of succession that is completely bypassed if the department is headed by an acting director.

While that is the most likely possibility, it could just be the Trump Administration just forgot all about him.

That's probably going to be some of the biggest issues with fixing the damage of Trump; not the stuff they deliberately broke, but fixing the stuff that just fell apart because they couldn't be bothered with it.  For every department that was intentionally screwed with, there's going to be several more that withered just due to apathy.

Trump actually appointed a chief for that? Wtf.

*clicks*

Oh. Bureau of Land Management. Makes much more sense.

Pendley has long been polarizing. Prior to coming to the BLM he called for the sale or transfer of federal public lands to the states. He also spent much of his career as an attorney challenging the agency he now leads.

That's a goddamn shocker there. I mean, consider my flabber, rightly and completely, gasted.

/ who could have guessed Dump would appoint someone like this?

They mean being called on it is outrageous, not the act itself.

Sorry, that doesn't provide infinite energy. It quite clearly states the cat must be fed, which puts energy into the system.

Trump is running Black Lives Matter?

I knew it. He *is* the Deep State!

To the QMobile!

It doesn't matter. They managed to get the BLM headquarters moved out to west bumfark, so that the western states can run it, and that was their big accomplishment.
It's just too bad that the Bureau of Livestock and Mines can't get anybody to come out and ruin more land, no matter how cheaply they give it away.

People are using it for free!

No, it's the other way around. The judge is saying this schlub can say whatever he wants, and let him try to enforce it. The court isn't saying that the government has to do anything in response to the ruling, but rather that no one at BLM has to pay the slightest attention to their purported boss.

Considering that was obviously wrong as proven by Andrew Jackson, something probably should have been done in the following 180 years to address the issue.

FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ARTICLE WORDING JACK DRIP ASS HOLE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM.

FTA:

Bureau of Land Management Acting Director William Perry Pendley spent much of his career as an attorney challenging the agency he would eventually lead be given authority over.

Leading and controlling, are two totally differetn things, AND THE FUK YOU KNOW IT.

This is the sort of insidious media play bs that ALL OF THEM DO.

The words we use are strong , they make reality.

So was the reality  of that mofo that wanted to lead the department in fulfilling it's mission as good as it can?
OR
Is it more really that he wanted to take control of it so he could impeded it in carrying out its purpose which he has spent a career fighting against already?

Go on use the words that say it, you fooking inhuman but dribbles.

The common clay only hates "the media" when it tells them something they don't want to hear, the rest of the time they're more than happy to lend their ears.
Just like their claim of wanting to fight a "tyrannical government", it's only tyranny when someone tells them what to do; that same government has allowed them to flex their white privilege while holding others down so naturally they have no problem with that.

Is being a diagnosed psychopath a requirement for membership in the GOP now?

If the Democrats take Congress, they should knock that down to 90 days. Fark letting a POTUS, who lost the popular election, govern by fiat.
