Philly: Did I miss the part about the plan for black economic improvement?

Its a bunch of hot air - you missed nothing. He was just lying and folksy for an hour so that wypipo could see him 'hanging out with his black friends', to re-assure them that he really isn't a racist, the BLM really are radical and bad for black people, that the police don't really need reforming. "See?! - the good ones like me"

It's basically the political version of "Get Out." Depressing.

All those people need their friend who works for the TSA (or the Post Office) to come in there and get them the hell out.

Since this is Fark, I believe I already know the answer to this, but...

Did any of you actually read the plan?

-  Tax cuts to minority owned businesses to stimulate hiring and investment
-  Invest $20 billion in broadband access in disadvantaged communities
-  $400 billion in lending to minority owned businesses
-  Making the Minority Business Development Agency permanent and create an office of African American Affairs
-  $40 billion in government funding to Black owned contracting businesses
-  Increase childcare tax credits and provide greater access to quality pre-school
-  Investments into disease research, specifically diseases that disproportionately affect the Black community
-  Creation of a National Clemency Program
-  Focus on second chance hiring for rehabilitated citizens with a criminal record
-  etc.

Is any of the above a bad thing?  Or is it just bad because it's a Trump plan?

Trump has been president for four farking years already. His chances of promoting bipartisan legislation of this type has existed the whole time. What has he done? The answer is very little, other than get thousands of minorities killed from COVID. Because he's a worthless leader.

I doubt Tattletales would let Trump in.

If the Democrats couldn't bring themselves to vote for legislation like this, wouldn't that be a pretty big sign that they don't care about the black community?
