Well like any of these advice columns, the answer is "butt stuff" but I'm not sure what to make of this one except that the letter is way too long to read.

Sounds like half the people in the town I fled grew up in.
Maybe they wouldn't have been such a bunch of hateful, miserable a-holes if they had sorted themselves out earlier.
But there is a lot to unpack here, and the woman in the article barely touched the surface.
Glad it worked out for her.
