There's an FEC deadline today for donations to candidates.

Just reminding everyone for no particular reason.

Their lip service against the emperor god and in favor of peaceful transition was vague, non-specific, and fleeting. Once Election Day rolls around and emperor god's claims of fraud point to a specific, yet still-non-existent, circumstance, they'll all fall right in line like the spineless treasonweasels they all are.

First Thing: would Republicans really stop Trump disrupting the election?

Republicans are actively abetting Trump in disrupting the election.

For instance, Rick Scott introduced a bill specifically aimed at not counting votes:

Here's what I can say with 100% certainty: Trump will not concede. The transition might or might not be orderly, but even if Trump doesn't physically resist, there will be no speech where he admits he lost, congratulates Biden for a hard-fought race, acknowledges that the people have spoken, and offers to assist with the transition. (Per a tradition that began with William Jennings Bryan in 1896.) The "best" he can do is slip out the back of the White House.

Pay attention to what Republican leaders are saying.  Lindsay Graham and others have said that they'll accept the election results "if the Supreme Court certifies that Biden is the winner."  But the Supreme Court doesn't certify election results.  It has no constitutional role in the presidential election.  It goes from the voters to the electoral college to congress - nowhere in that process is the Supreme Court mentioned.  The SC has only weighed in once in a presidential election - in 2000, when they screwed up.  Trump and his minions, however, have already decided that they will appeal any Biden victory to the SC, which is why it is so crucial for them to have a replacement for Ginsburg on the bench before November.

One of the most absolutely disgusting things one can see is that fat toad Barr making his puppy-dog eyes at the chaos goblin.

Showing this much open affection for one own's gender is supposedly one of the things that republicans supposedly think is an abomination.

"But it's ok when WE do it!"

Ask yourself this: have the GOP legislators done anything substantive to stop the current potus, yet? Have they enabled him? Have they felt that their fate, their priorities are tied to this potus?

If you can reasonably answer these questions, then subby is correct - you already know the answer to the original question.

VOTE BLUE - up and down.

Barr's main regret in life is that he was born in the wrong time and place to be able to work for the Ceasascu regime. So when Trump tapped him to be AG he must have whispered to himself "thank you Satan!"

Well we've seen Republicans firmly check Trump's worst impulses so far like when they punished him for election meddling with ukraine or when they pushed back against his meddling in the cdc, or when they- oh shiat you're right were boned.
