I wish I could donate more, but it's been 25 here, 50 there etc.  Got a car that is at the shop and the IRS is on my ass, so drips and drabs is how I can donate this year.

Final total: Biden 55-Trump 41 - which, according to FiveThirtyEight, Biden wins in a landslide, including electorally.

That being said, VOTE! (vote early if you can)

State polls are beginning to reflect a substantial Biden lead. The New York Times and Siena College pollsreleased Thursday show Biden with a narrow lead in Iowa (45-42) and tied in Georgia. Trump should have secured these states, both of which he won easily in 2016, long ago. In Wisconsin, Michigan and even Arizona Biden leads in multiple polls.

But then there's yesterday's Washington-Post ABC News poll saying Trump is leading in Arizona, so which one is it Washington Post?

In Florida, likely voters split 51 percent for Trump to 47 percent for Biden, while registered voters split 47 percent for Trump to 48 percent for Biden. In Arizona, Trump's margin is even smaller, at 49 percent to Biden's 48 percent among likely voters.

The bottom line is ignore the polls and vote like your life depends on it, because it does.

The Washington post polls were weird because the RV to LV split was way off. Apparently they are using a new pollster. Dunno

If you are at your limit, consider donating to good local papers. Part of the reason we are in this mess is bodies like Sinclair buying up struggling media outlets. Local guys need support.

If you have some free time, go volunteer to be a local poll worker. I did this year, and was shocked how elderly most of the volunteers are! I'm 51, and was the youngest new volunteer by a decent margin. We need to make sure good people from both sides are out in force to assure a free and fair election, despite the wishes of our current impeached president.

Silly question: how loyal is the secret service to Donald Trump? 'Cause I'm hoping when November comes around and he hopefully loses, but refuses to leave, that the secret service people that have had to put up with his bullshiat for the last four years get to escort him off the premises for trespassing.

They're going to get violent either way.

At least if Trump loses, their extremist views aren't normalized by the US Government.

Vote straight-ticket Democrat, and then, once Biden's in the Oval Office and has a majority in Congress, hold their feet to the fire to move the Democrats leftwards. And for farks sake, if Dems don't turn America completely around in two years, DON'T LET REPUBLICANS BACK INTO POWER IN 2022!

That's the only way to fix this short of starting, and winning, an actual violent revolution. And everyone should hope that it doesn't come to that, because winning a revolution (and ending up with a leader who isn't a psychotic murderous shiathead like Robespierre or Stalin) is by no means certain.

I think you mean in January, when his term is up. Although if he throws a big enough temper tantrum, I could see him getting tossed out on his orange ass earlier. Probably into a psychiatric hospital of some kind.

The Secret Service is fanatically loyal to the Office of the President and the Constitution. Not the man. I suspect they will take great pleasure in gently but firmly leading Trump out of Biden's White House, should that become necessary. Since Trump is a coward, I doubt it will become necessary.

I was on board that bus until recently. My little enclave seems heavily Biden leaning but when I took a couple of motorcycle trips to the surrounding areas recently (no, not the farking Sturgis Super Spreader bullshiat) I was left deeply shaken. Idaho as an example had a bar open with no distancing or masks to be found, but farking Trump flags were EVERYWHERE.

2 years!  Buhahahahaha!

It will taken Biden the entirety of a two term run to start fixing shiat.

Some of the stuff, like ousting the cronies and starting to repair the various Federal agencies he *might* get done in 2 years.

The international clusterfark that is the US today is going to take more than 8 years to fix.

Will that lead matter if it's the result of mail-in voting? Biden needs a decisive victory on election night. Otherwise the shiatshow that occurs due to mail-in voting being the decisive action will cause a constitutional crisis due to Donnie Dipshiat shiatting all over everything and the Republicans allowing it. By all means vote by any method, but if you can protect yourself and others appropriately, I encourage in person voting.

If he loses, I see him pushing through every f*cking Republican wish list item possible, breaking everything he can, setting up amazing amounts of overt grift from the government and starting a war as soon as he makes sure he will get his cut from those who will benefit.

I then see him resigning  in mid-January in favor of Pence. Trump gets on a plane to Azerbaijan and clears US airspace before the announcement comes out.  Pence immediately - like, THAT VERY DAY - pardons him for all crimes. Trump buys Azerbaijani officials to keep him safe.  Maybe even a doctor to declare him unfit to stand trial so The Hague can't get to him.  He runs his money-laundering business and anti-American media empire from there.

See, I'm the first person to point out that our electoral system is as nonsensical as quidditch, and to make fun of shiatlibs for essentially turning "vote" into the left's equivalent of "thoughts and prayers..." But this ain't it, fam.

Presidents don't leave office, the office leaves them.

It doesn't really matter if he tries to squat in the White House beyond inauguration day, his words stop carrying the weight of the presidency on January 21st.

Really wishing we had a candidate with more name recognition for OK-1. Horn might actually be able to hold on in OK-5.
