Jesus would Kobe/Shaq each have more than one ring if it weren't for playoff refs?

"Hell no!" - Tim D. Or maybe T. Donaghy.

Farking entitled crybabies.  Howard mugs Jokic on every play and no call.  Nuggets say they can't worry about the officials.

The stats suggest that they're right.

/AD gets all the calls LeBron doesn't, though

This is nothing new and has happened in almost every playoff series for a long time. Team loses a game 3/4 and the next one is gonna be a big game. Complain about the refs. Usually it's the coaches, they take a $25k fine and there star player gets a little more love in the next game.

Before anyone brings it up, Phil Jackson did this all the time for MJ

Just working the refs. You can't be an entitled organization without some backup.

And it will be successful.

It's sad that working the officials for more beneficial calls is a legitimate strategy.  Jokic has gotten better about not pissing off the refs, but he's not getting superstar calls yet.

NBA officiating is it's own special brand of bad.  I generally think it's bad if I know an official's name.  For example, I happen to know Tony Brothers' name and he's been quick on the whistle against the Nuggets historically.  I once saw a game where it seemed Brothers and another official were at odds.  Brothers called a dumb foul.  Another official gave a make-up call.  Brothers countered with a make-up call for the make-up call and it seemed to escalate from there.

/I remember the ongoing feud with Steve Javie and Nick Van Exel.

Maybe he needs to finally start flopping.

I was going to say "but that's not an SEC mascot" then I remembered Ohio State only became good again because they brought in an SEC Cheater coach

NBA marks are truthers about OSU football?  Color me shocked.

Do you guys know the difference between the NBA and WWE?  WWE actually admits their results are predetermined.

Yes, because Nuggets-Lakers is definitely what they preferred, rather than the LA showdown everyone has wanted all year

And they definitely wanted cranky Jimmy Butler and a bunch of unknowns to take down the 2-time MVP.

LOL this is a weird criticism of me, especially given my Lakers comment earlier (no, Fark filter, not gonna get me) and my lack of caring about the league much since that Wade/Shaq title.

But to bring trutherism into this? Don't worry, I'd criticize Michigan too but they suck.

And less than 15 minutes into the game, he's matched his series high of four FTs.

As Sir Charles might say, "Man, if Denver and Miami make it to the Finals, David Stern gonna be rollin' in his grave."

Well the refs weren't gonna let that happen.

I'd say the Nuggets.not getting rebounds helped, but when you're called for fouls endlessly...
