Good article, thanks subby.

Trump is testing his cage. Make no mistake, bunker b*tch is in a cage right now. He's losing in swing states and there doesn't seem to be much of any wiggle room to get out of it outside of cheating. He's trying to get everyone used to the idea of him stealing the election.

But make no mistake, he will push the limits of this farkin thing. Because he's going to go to jail otherwise.

That was a great read. Thanks, Subby.

"our nation's cognitive election infrastructure" is what is really at stake here.

Vote 3rd party?

Vote, and then when we get control of the government, get rid of the electoral college.

MattytheMouse: Vote, and then when we get control of the government, get rid of the electoral college.

Even best-case for November, I can't see that happening.  Are there any odds yet on what the governor/legislature numbers look like after the election?

I know... I can't see it happening, even if democrats were universally swept into office.

But a mouse can dream~

Saiga410: Vote 3rd party?

Yeah, no. Just for starters, are ANY third party candidates on all the ballots? Vote for Democrats, then hold their feet to the fire once they're in office to move the Democrats left. And keep farking using that pattern until the GOP is politically irrelevant. Then we can talk about splitting the Democrats up into a few sane political parties.

Forget the cumbersome constitutional amendments, this is the way:

Meh. BSAB.
And Biden isn't really inspiring me. Besides, I hear his son used a family hookup to get a job. I mean, who does that!

Not at will, and not on his own. He had plenty of help from Republicans, who have been anti-democracy for a long time.

And he gives unsolicited backrubs.

But it sure is funny how the same libs who got all triggered over Trump bragging on tape about sexually assaulting women and getting away with it don't seem to be as equally bothered by that.

Well if both sides are bad it must be okay to throw out America's 200 year tradition of peacefully transitioning power. Thanks for the lesson in how to never stand up for anything.

Does peaceful transfer of power include spying on and launching a bullshiat investigation into the incoming administration and when it doesn't turn up any dirt on the target, refocusing instead on whether the new President is very bad man for not being more cooperative with said bullshiat investigation?  Does that qualify as peaceful?

Irrelevant, because all of that is made up. I see deflection is your only skill. How dull.

FTFA: "That's why it's urgently important to understand where the key uncertainty lies heading into November: It's not legal; it's mental."

100% wrong.  It's legal.  And all the wishful thinking in the world won't stop GOP packed courts from invalidating millions of mail in ballots and giving the election to Trump.

2020-09-24 3:57:50 PM
What Trump is trying to disrupt is our faith in that system.

Gee why would we lose faith in the electoral system? After the legal system worked so well? It's not like Trump committed hundreds of crimes right out in the open and completely got away with it and faced no consequences at all, so why would we possibly think he could manipulate the electoral system?

Plus, after Bush/Gore, we all know the electoral system is on solid ground and a Presidential election will never be stolen.

LP should be on near all ballots.  The GP should have been on about 35-40 but the dems got real litigious on their application trying to get the competition kicked off.

That does qualify as peaceful. Even though it's not what happened it's still peaceful because there was no election rigging or stealing, or direct harm to the opposition or to democracy in your version of events.

How in the ninety nine billion names of the one god can some people get everything so precisely and utterly backwards!?
