Five weeks, six days until the election, and then things get really interesting.

Dad had a stroke sometime between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.  I found him on the floor next to the bed when I came over to make dinner.  He passed away last night, just before midnight.

And now both of my parents are gone in the last year--although Mom's Alzheimers took her before she died, really.

I'm a little adrift, making arrangements and notifying people and figuring out what needs to be done.

So 2020 continues to be a pile of shiat as the world burns down around us.

Yay for Virginia early voting. (Actually mailed in the ballot. Not too worried about the time it'll take in the mail, considering the absentee ballots were all just mailed out on the 18th.)

So. One patriotic duty done, now to see what else I can do between now and Election Day...
