Time to spend my lunch hour either having an anxiety attack or crying.

2020-09-23 1:57:05 PM
Well, the cops said they knocked and oh look, here's a "witness", so there's no need to get rid of no-knock warrants.  Sleep soundly, citizens.

2020-09-23 1:57:36 PM
Chances these charges were filed after consulting with Barr/White House to provoke another rash of "HUR LANWMORDER DURR" rallies?

/foil hat off

2020-09-23 1:57:49 PM
AG just said there was a single anonymous witness who claimed the police announced themselves.  Apparently that's good enough to go against the multiple witnesses who said the opposite, and the lack of bodycams that mysteriously didn't capture the incident.

"I'm prohibited from making comments which may influence the public" -- prosecutor who went out of his way to avoid charging any cops with any homicide charges for fatally shooting Breonna Taylor, and only charged one cop with three counts of accidentally shooting neighbors' apartments.

/and he's currently reading the cops' report as if it's the gospel truth
//specifically denying friendly fire for the cop's injuries
///claiming Taylor, who was asleep in her bed at the time, was standing by her boyfriend

2020-09-23 1:58:03 PM
Jeez!  One officer shot 6 times and another shot 16 times!  Not counting the guy who fired 10 shots from outside?

2020-09-23 1:58:07 PM
And they wonder why people want to burn the whole farking thing to the ground.

So much bullshiat.

2020-09-23 1:58:23 PM
Good news.  While she was hit with six 40 caliber bullets, only one of them was technically fatal.  So the rest don't count?

2020-09-23 1:58:44 PM
See?  She would have died anyway, so the murderous cops letting her bleed out in the hallway was inconsequential.  Nothing to see here, citizens.

2020-09-23 1:59:22 PM
Cosgrove fired 16 times and fired the fatal shot... and he's not even charged?  WTF?

Well, it's a matter of he-said, lab-said, so you can see why they just can't know for sure.  Therefore, we can't charge anyone.  It's unknowable.

I don't care who fired the *fatal* shot as much as this chucklefark thinks I do.

Isn't the Kentucky AG a Trumper himself?

He probably did it for free.

I am not a gun guy... how many rounds do these handguns hold?  Can that one officer fire 16 times without reloading?

Truly, I think we can agree they did the white thing.

According to the cops, the cops' actions were justified.

See, it is all the boyfriend's fault that the cops murdered a woman in her bed.

"justice is often not easy"  Or just non-existent.

Was the boyfriend even hit?  26 bullets were fired at him and it sounds like only Breonna was hit

2020-09-23 2:05:54 PM
The AG realizes they can try again with a grand jury right?  I mean, I'm sure they've never gone to the grand jury multiple times to try and charge other suspects, but maybe he just isn't aware?

I hope that somehow this tanks Moscow Mitch's re-election campaign. News organizations need to get him on the record as to whether he thinks justice is being served.

MSNBC was saying that happens all the time, but almost never with a cop-involved shooting

Only the cops know the facts(TM).  Don't listen to those famous people who are just as outraged as you are, cuz they don't know the facts(TM).

A standard police Glock 22 holds 15, but also has 16 or 22 round magazines.

Not sure if this is the weapon used, but likely it is.

Good luck finding one for sale. I went to Bass Pro over the weekend just to , maybe, pick up some ammo... they had almost no guns of any kind in stock and aside from 30-06 and 12gauge they had no ammo to speak of either.

and the only stuff available on CheaperThanDirt is a bunch of  never heard of them brands, and even that is in short supply ammo wise.

2020-09-23 2:08:54 PM
Oh, he's forming a task force to look into the system that approves warrants.  I'm sure they will write a vigorous and stern letter.

It's funny he thinks that means a goddamn thing. People aren't upset about the warrant, they are upset about the killing. What a f|_|ckwit
