Dave Clark was in a field in Richmond, North Yorkshire, when it happened on Monday evening. He was reportedly walking his dogs at the time.

They trampled him and left him *BOOM* *BOOM* flat all over.

A good friend of mine like to point out that thanks to zoos, several major cities in the world have increased the odds of being mauled by a lion to non-zero, and this headline just reminds me of that energy.

Bonus points if one of the younger characters is played by an actress who later appeared as a hard drinking strumpet in Hollyoaks.

I work with some Aussies and some people from Eastern Europe, and we were chatting about dangerous animals from their home countries and how they coped growing up.

They were very disappointed to learn that the Cow is the deadliest animal in the UK.

Horses are the most deadly animal in Australia.

I mean, sure, there's a whole bunch of nopes that could kill you, but horses do kill the most.

/As of the date of that study, anyway.
