Waat?

Oh right, democratic states...

The company formerly ran a cannery in Astoria, Oregon, the Samuel Elmore Cannery, which had been designated a National Historic Landmark. The deteriorating structure was later slated for demolition, and the facility burned down in 1993. Today the company has canneries in Santa Fe Springs, California.

Thankfully, the rioters buying up soup and tuna had to show their ID when buying groceries, so they'll be easy to trace.

Supposedly the CEO of Bumble Bee was critical of Dump's trade and tariff policies, which adversely affected their company.

So of course Dump has to respond with the most petty, idiotic thing possible in a failed attempt to own them.

So damn wierd, I bought Bumblebee tuna today. I never buy tuna in a can either.  Might I have been the catalyst to the super duper Antifa weapons?!  Am I being monitored?!

I just came from my international Antifa meeting and we all decided to make him think that next we'll all be buying tins of Goya beans to throw at valiant police officers and fine, upstanding, MAGA-hatted citizens.

So, we've gone from cans of soup to tuna?

Donnie can't keep even the script in his own head straight. Anyone got the odds that his staff has to tackle him every morning to get pants on at this point?

My dearest Martha,

Tis hard to see the Soup and Tuna cans, crushing the dying and dead beneath their merciless BPA free Steel feet. No dear wife, near to speak a word of comfort. No living sister or Mother to administer relief in that hour the most sad in the history of humanity. O the humanity. O the horrors of war. Truly it may be considered the most cruel and awful scourge which can befall a nation. Heaven grant there may be an end soon.

I remain forever yours,

Chester

I prefer Goya beans.

When he was my age, my father used to open the paper and say, "Let's see if the world has blown up." Today, I say, "let's see what the nightmare has to offer today."

The US President is accusing anti-fascists in the streets of buying cans of tuna fish to hurl as projectiles against over aggressive police forces. He singles out a specific brand of tuna fish.

With a household of 8, I use the 66.5 oz tuna cans. With my shoulders, I'd have to use a lacrosse stick or a sling of some sort.

Anti Trump protestors should sing the Bumble Bee Tuna song at protests.

Aren't rocks and bricks still cheaper and more abundant?

EvilEgg: Aren't rocks and bricks still cheaper and more abundant?

Yes, but those are obvious weapons. Our brave police forces would stop them from bringing those to protests. But a guy dragging 500 cans of tuna in a sack? They're powerless to stop him! "He must really like tuna," they mutter, moments before high velocity aluminum/fish projectiles shatter their helmets and body armor, grievously maiming these valiant protectors of the public. I weep at the thought.

Shouldn't they stop just because all that mercury would be bad for him?

Tuna costs to much to be throwing around like that.  Rocks are free.

didn't you read the president's comments? the cans of tuna (and soup!) are the perfect weight for chucking at hard working police officers in body armor. Bumblebee is notorious for making Armor Piercing Tuna Cans. there's currently legislation on the floor of the House debating APTCs, but the Sneaky Democrats keep blocking its way to the Senate. hopefully when Republicans re-take the House in a Red Wave this November, we'll be able to protect our brave, brave LEOs from APTCs violently hurled at them. Make Tuna Pouched Again!

I wonder what Bumblebee did to piss him off. That's awfully specific for him not to be holding a grudge of some kind.

2020-09-23 9:13:10 AM
So we can safely assume that some crony of Trump's is a competitor of Bumble Bee tuna.

Also, just saying, but generic canned catfood is way cheaper. And those big chunky soup sized cans of generic dog food. Protip.

I tried using Chicken of the Sea, but the aerodynamics were off. :(

Dammit. I was still lugging around Pepsi cans for the cops.

Sidenote- won't a hockey stick be the best delivery device for cans of tuna?

2020-09-23 9:19:32 AM
With all the destruction being caused by BLM and their Antifa allies, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Washington and Oregon flip red this year.  People are sick of the violence and rioting.
