The way things currently line up, they'd be drawing the Reds in the best-of-three wild card round. That's a brutal matchup.

The Braves would rather have the Reds than see this again:

Yeah, that was both painful and embarassing.  I was already having a bad day, I got in the car and turned on the radio, then I heard that score in the first freaking inning.  I'll flat-out admit that we didn't deserve tto progress further after that shiatshow.

This is not a repeat from the 1990s.

Learning from the Falcons, the Braves are ready to blow a twenty plus point lead.

That series loss is on Snitker.  Keuchal was average at best and was our 4th best starter but we put him out there games 1 and 4 based on some bs about vet starters.  After that great regular season and all the talent on the team our own manager beat us.

Fair enough, that seems to be our way.

The Marlins have a good shot at making the wild card and based on their history when they make the playoffs (twice) they win the World Series (twice)

Go Fish!

I hate the Braves. Ever since the early 1990s when they beat the Pirates in 91 and 92.

I'm not really feeling this whole division champion playoff thing. You played for like, a week. Did you really earn anything?

You didn't all get C19 like some teams did though, so good job here is your participation trophy.

Atlanta hasn't won a playoff series since 2001.  It's our turn, damnit!

Actually, if I'm being honest, I think the Dodgers are the best team in the NL.  But the best team doesn't always win, and if the Braves keep up their offense like it's been going, I wouldn't bet against Atlanta.  They hit as well as anyone else, and their bullpen is solid.  If the Braves can get 4 or 5 innings of low-scoring baseball out of their starters, don't count out Atlanta.

Back before all this crap with COVID happened, this really felt like the Braves' year.  I'm not afraid to admit that we're prone to sucking out loud at the 11th hour, and the 2019 playoffs were a heartbreaker, but would have been a longshot anyway.  It seemed like this year, though, the pieces were really in place for a big win, and even though a lot of our pitching plans ended up not paying off the way we'd hoped, I don't hate our chances.  Like you say, if the Dodgers take it, it's because they've earned the hell out of it and I begrudge them nothing, but this still has the potential to be a very good year for the Braves.

I wonder how that signing of Ozuna is turning out.  I was told he doesn't do shiate. Let's see:

Oh wow.  It's almost like I expected except...better.
