Republicans have been praying for her death since the 90s. Let's not pretend this f*ckwit is special.

Evangelical shysters gonna shyster. This farkwit's still got nothing on the Westboro Baptists, literally everything that ever happened is proof God hates gay people if you've ever seen their work.

The fact is that Robert Henderson is only alive today because I am a nice person and I prayed it so. That farkwit owes me, I'm gonna send a livid email.

Luke 6:28
Bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.

Matthew 6:15
But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Acts 8:21-23
You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before God. Repent, therefore, of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intent of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity."

James 4:3
You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

Mark 11:25
And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

There are more, but I'll leave it there. Sounds like someone isn't reading their Bible.

Like, I'm just gonna say... Looking at Alabama's 2017 special election and realizing that a candidate winning with 47% of the vote would've translated into him losing 6 out of 7 districts should be mortifying, and I'm legit upset that somebody's like "WE should be doing that," instead of, you know... encouraging voter turnout and making it so that the people with more wins, wins.

Why not give Puerto Rico the option to form five states?

They should have proportional representation nearly equal to Wyoming at the very least.

I spent the night after RGB's death reading conspiracy theories; a lot of people like "the timing of this is too coincidental!"

And it's like, we've all been on the edge of our seats for the last three years, begging for her not to die, and when she dies, some people were unironically like "how could this have happened?!"

That reminds me: I'm afraid to ask my parents what they think about Qanon, because my mom had bought into Scalia conspiracy theories about how he was killed by a 13 year-old sex slave.

PunGent: Left Leg: wtf is wrong with these people

Remember this when they say they're pro-life.

They're a death cult.

It stems from property rights.  It's not that they're especially concerned over anyone's right to life, they just don't want anyone but God killing His own property without official divine sanction. Some of the craziest ones don't see much wrong with parents who kill disobedient children, or husbands who kill disobedient wives, and have even waxed poetically over towns regularly coming together for lynchings or stonings.

"Pro-life" is just branding.  "Anti-abortion " is more accurate.

At the risk of stating the obvious, praying for someone's death is a very un-Christian thing to do.  Such to the extent that his followers should immediately abandon him.

But they won't.  Because despite what these people call themselves, they are not "Christians".  They are far right conservative radicals, using their label as a cover for their farked up thinking. and behavior.

Which, it would amuse them to know, is precisely what other far right conservative groups do.  People like the Taliban, Al-Qaida, ISIS, Saudi Arabia, etc, etc...
And I say this while including also, that THOSE groups have no business calling themselves "Muslims".  Because they are not.

In both of these cases, the radicals have hijacked the label for their own purposes.

And the Christians in this country are just too stubborn or stupid (or both) to see it.

Even an atheist like myself can see this.  Or, perhaps, that's why I see it so clearly.
