I was surprised, as well.

Guess he's living up to his name as guy, incognito.

/Simpsons did it.

Do we have a final count on injuries sustained this week? I'd like something more tangible than "a crapton."

Instead of comparing this years injuries to the first two weeks of other years, maybe compare it to the first two exhibition games of other years. I'm guessing the numbers are comparable, but this year they have to pay for all of them.

The starters would be playing about ten plays apiece in the first two exhibition games.

Only the toughest and strongest, both physically and mentally, will get it.

I'm hoping someone does a dive into the data compared to other seasons.  I think a lot of us expected more injuries, particularly of the soft-tissue variety, given limited access to training facilities as well as the strength and conditioning coaches. But it could be confirmation bias.

As crazy as it sounds, he was a bit of a stabilizing influence last year in training camp when Mr Banged Cranium went off the deep end.

That's because, as anyone else who has fought mental illness can tell you, he may be decent enough person when on the proper medication and in the right frame of mind. *Doesn't mean any/all of his past transgressions are excusable*, but it does mean that those of us who do not know the man are in no position to rationally judge him for them. Unless, ya know, you don't actually have any compassion for mental illness.
*this is the part that the people who are about to attack me for this stance are going to ignore or simply pretend I never said it

As someone dealing with mental illness I would agree.  My real problem with Incognito is that he is fully aware of his problems, has the means to deal with them, yet chose not to for years.  I hope he stays on the straight and narrow but I have a bad feeling that once his career is over he'll spiral again.
