Mandalorian.  Mandalorian.  Hang on for Mandalorian, Monkey.  Hang on for that.  It'll make 2020 worth it.

I'm only watching a few shows in normal years.. normally on my computer the morning after they air.

By the time new shows I want to see return, I may forget how to do that.

Who cares?   "Tremors:  Shrieker Island" is still on track for an October 20th release:

Which is coincidentally the first day I can do early voting.   I'm thinking I'll take a vacation day.

Did they replace Jaime Kennedy with Jon Heder?
Bold casting choice.

Still surprised Kevin Bacon thought he could make something Tremors related without Michael Gross.

No big, Mandalorian starts in October and Wandavision will be in November or December.

I can't wait to see how Sam gets super powers. Until he gets them, he's just a comic-con cosplayer.

What superpowers did Stark or Romanov have?

Don't forget Hawk Guy.  He didn't even have any wings or claws or anything. Maybe his power was good eyesight?  That's a shiatty power.

Hawk-dude is still alive at least. That's better than the billionaire and the piece of ass are doing.

If they delay it long enough, the real world will catch up to EndGame.

I seem to remember him doing a better job of knocking Thanos's lieutenants on their asses than most of the Avengers.

In the movies it's implied that Stark upgraded his wingsuit. He seems to have pretty serious computer-aided targeting systems and as of Civil War he definitely has weapon systems he didn't have in Winter Soldier. Basically Falcon is a little bit Cap and a little bit Iron Man.

In the comics, Falcon can also communicate with at least one bird, but I'm OK with ditching that aspect in favor of tech upgrades.

These are two characters they're giving a movie to? Really, they couldn't find any less charismatic or interesting ones then a guy with some wings he straps on or one who has the over done brainwash trope?

Just didn't see any chemistry or desire to watch these actors & they give them a movie over the hundreds of others they could've picked.

Cardinal Ximenez: These are two characters they're giving a movie to?

No, these are the two characters they're giving a limited series TV show aimed at hardcore fans to.

Just didn't see any chemistry or desire to watch these actors

Fans generally though their brief interactions in Civil War were a highlight of the movie and look forward to an uneasy "buddy cop / allies with a rivalry" story.

Plus, it's continuing the story of Captain America after his death and picks up some threads from earlier Avengers movies, also making it something MCU fans are looking forward to.

they give them a movie over the hundreds of others they could've picked

They're not getting a movie.

Richest media company in the world refuses to lose one bloody cent in theater income

Somehow this is shocking to people who dont understand the looooooong list of ways Disney cheats everyone out of money

Once again, this is a TV show. There was never going to be any theater income because it was always going to be a Disney+ show. It was one of the first shows announced when the service was announced.

It hasn't been pushed back because they fear to lose income, it got pushed back because production got delayed due to the pandemic.

It is a limited TV series on Disney+. If they can keep the espionage/spy elements of Winter Soldier, it could be fun and less reliant on super powers to push the plot. And they can get Mackie and they can get Anthony and Sebastian cheaper than the other actors.

/The real question is when does What If hit?

The rumors is it's  pushed back because Black Widow is pushed back, since it uses story elements from BW.

The Disney+ series also provide a bridge to the elements of the Phase Four films. Those films have had their production schedules delayed so pushing back the release reduces the wait for the next part of the MCU.
I'm thinking of the Disney+ series like Marvel OneShots and trailers on steroids.

I take them with a grain of salt. Filming was full-on shut down for months and only resumed in August, so it was unlikely they'd have been able to meet their initial release plan no matter what Black Widow's release looked like.

Though that remains to be seen and those rumors could well be accurate.

Allegedly, it's also undergoing some rewrites because the story concerned a potential pandemic being unleashed. Those rumors have NOT been confirmed, though it's interesting that the production company working on the show is/was called Pandemic Productions.

As I understand it, they were able to fast-track Wandavsion and flip them in the schedule because all filming was already done for that show, thanks to being mostly done in studio. Falcon & WS has a lot of location shooting. They were shooting in Europe when the production got shut down.

Yeah, see that its a series now j& probably saw that before, just had to look elsewhere since the site linked had a nice cookie blocker covering the page.

As far as a story with less superpowers I'm ok with that, but likability of the characters or interest in watching them to me just isn't there.

After watching Anthony Mackie in season 2 of Altered Carbon I just don't see him carrying a show.

I'd rather watch Bucky & the howling commandos, Moon Knight (which I know is on board eventually), Women of Wakanda, or a dozen other ideas I've heard being talked about over this.  Hopefully I'll be wrong but the premise or what I've seen so far haven't peaked my interest.

I signed up for the 3-year D+ deal for the Marvel shows, which aren't even coming out within the first year. Annoying. I don't care about the other content.

Bacon was trying to make a Tremors sequel in the last year or so, I think he was going to produce and star in it but didn't have a role for Burt in it. The project eventually collapsed, my guess because he didn't have a role for Burt in it.

Upon further review, it was a series they tried to sell to SciFi, even filmed a pilot. But SciFi wasn't interested. Probably because there was no Burt in it.

Howling Commandos could absolutely rule! More Neal McDonough (I actually found his name by googling smarmy cadillac commercial guy)!

I have hopes for Wandavision. It should lead to an M Day level event, but maybe this time it introduces mutants to the MCU? Or just wipes the InHuman series out of existence? That show might have been nice, but the budget hamstrung the plot.
