"This is a continuation of the witch hunt, the greatest witch hunt in history," Mr. Trump said last month, while twirling around a large spoon in the cauldron he was chanting into.

That, and the latest FinCEN dump will show that he's barely got two nickels to rub together in liquidity, and is massively beholden to Russian oligarchs, which everyone knew before the last election, but couldn't prove.

But you know what, his rube followers and a good percentage of GOP voters wouldn't give two shiats if he came right out and declared live, on national TV, that he swore fealty to Putin, which is just farking sickening.

Wait, are you guys insinuating Donald Trump is a dishonest businessman?

It's how they got Capone.

Capone was never POTUS, though in hindsight for his own sake maybe he should have run.

Well, we've got him now. LOL, can't really do anything but chuckle ruefully nowadays. If that.

Never would have worked.  Back in his day, most folks had to read newspapers to keep up with current events.  Fox news has very poor ratings with people who can actually read.

File a specific indictment and it is a politically motivated stunt. File an vague indictment and its a fishing expedition. There is no pleasing conservatives so stop trying to and crucify Trump for every crime he has committed.

Good luck getting near him. The DOJ is now Trump's personal law firm. You ain't sending a couple of state officers to pull him out of the White House.

Do more charges from NY actually mean anything significant right now, or is it just adding to the list of stuff he might get charged with at a later date?

It's a "Trump Hunt", which is the opposite of a witch hunt.

So what? So farking what? It doesn't matter. We're so far past banal concepts like "illegal" and "criminal" and "laws" I expect the Senate to bake Trump a "Happy Fraud Day" stripper cake filed with Adderall and oil-rubbed12 year old girls. Nothing matters, this included. Book it.

Fortunately the IRS doesn't have anything to do with NY State taxes.

Or Trump is actually a witch who draws strength from chant magic.

Absolutely nobody should be surprised.

Although I'm guessing he will not be arrested while president and once he is arrested, he will likely make bail quickly and the case will drag on for years.

Jay Sekulow, a lawyer for Mr. Trump, declined to comment on the district attorney's filing.

Damn! He missed his cue. It was supposed to be a disgruntled employee.

Is there a limit to appeals? It seems bunkie fights them to the SC, loses, files another appeal, then loses then back to the SC to start the loop over again.

Saiga410: Couldnt they at least wait for October

It's already out that "the strategy" is basically a nonstop, bad-news-for-Donald drip every day.

It's the only way to prevent the smoothbrains who lack the ability to form long-term memories from forgetting "Benedict Donald Bad."

Okay.. if that's the strategy and *this* is coming out now, imagine what must be waiting for October?

Another 13-year-old rape victim coming forward perhaps?

KarmicDisaster: "Donald Trump proclaimed during the first presidential debate of 2016 that not paying federal taxes made him "smart," then denied having said it."

Hmmm, not paying taxes?

Biden should write down the obvious lies trump tells, and things he'll lie about having said, during the debate.

When Trump tries to lie about having lied, Biden should say "Donald, stop lying," point to the camera, and say "they all have DVRs. Go ahead, folks, back it up uh [look at watch] about 6 minutes and you'll see he sad it."

Few things infuriate a narcissist trying to gaslight people like having it thrown back in their faces.

Is Jay Sekulow paid from campaign funds? the RNC? Is he out of there when the money runs out?

Let it. Just schedule him for a deposition every day. I figure in less than a week he will confess.

Well, to him it is bragging. To the law folks not so much.

Of course Trump cheats on his taxes.

All the owner class do.

That's why the IRS is refused the necessary funds to audit the owner class.

If you weren't one of the rare cops out to fark with him (since he owned the rest), and weren't a competitor...

I'm damned sure he would have been an interesting man to have a pint with... at least until he went bug-shiat.

Whatever evidence they have should be brought to congress, and impeachment should begin the same day any news is announced on charges (or lack of ability to charge).
