Yup. He was my first pick

Maybe don't draft a rb from a bad team with no oline or qb in the first round?

Same.  And I wasn't even supposed to play FF this year.

Mine too.  Season ending injuries seem to happen a lot to my FF picks.  I should hire out my talents to the highest bidder.

What player do you want injured and out for the year?  I will pick them in my fantasy draft!

At least they got a full week out of him.

I chose Christian McCaffrey with the first overall but almost went with Saquon. Christian is out for a few weeks with a high ankle sprain but at least he will come back.

PSU alum here. Saquon was probably the best thing to happen to PSU in many moons. His injury sucks.

I was going to laugh but I got McCaffrey

Yeah, anyone that picked him was doomed from the start.  The giants are in rebuild mode and not a good team.  He was supposed to be the bright spot on the team, but when you have no o-line and your qb is, lets be frank, not good... it's not going to open up the rushing game.

Steelers sold out to stop the run last week against the giants, daring Daniel Jones to beat them.  Saquon got nothing and Daniel Jones most definitely didn't beat them (although, as usual, it was much closer than it needed to be).  I imagine most teams would have this same thought.  He wasn't gonna have a big year.

I did but someone in my league dropped James Conner after the first week when he got hurt and I scooped him up so it isn't the end of the world and I am 2-0. No worries.

This is it... the one year where being stuck with the water-boy, the 5th string QB, and the guy from out of the stands will secure you the Championship!!!

Last year was the first one in 5 years my first round pick didn't get hurt, wasn't a bust, or both.

I drafted kamara this year and fully expect him to go down tonight, no way I avoid this weekend's wrath

Yesterday was a bloodbath in the NFL

2020-09-21 1:20:56 PM
I played Cousins on a hunch yesterday.  Cousins got me -4.75 points.  I played another hunch and played Sam the sham Watkins over Evans and to complete my perfecta of stupid I played Lazard over Bengal Boyd.

Aaron Jones and a bit more sense and I would have had the highest score in the league.

If my TE Cook can catch, oh, 10 passes for 100 yards and 2 TD's I can still pull off an upset win.

I'll return to my starters next week (Brees, etc.) and all three will manage to have shiatty games.

Luckily the only guy on my FF team to get hurt yesterday was Davante Adams.

Hopefully it is not a lingering hamstring injury

This poor guy won't last another 3 years in this league. Seems a bit injury probe and currently has no protection it help from the offensive line.

Whelp.... another example of why you don't draft a RB this high. There's a very good chance Barkley doesn't get a big second contract from the Giants after this injury.

How many RBs last more than three years?  The punishment they take is criminal.

For fantasy you're always better off with a mediocore talent rb on a good team than an elite talent rb on a bad team.  The Giants were never going to run much bc they're not going to have big leads very often.  Even healthy he was just going to be a once a month fantasy asset at best.

You may do well tonight. With Thomas out with a sprain, fully expect a sh*t-ton of screens and short scores from him.

It's easy to say that in hindsight.

Literally every FF site, ranking, "expert", etc. had him as a top tier pick.  Are you suggesting they simply make their recommendations on talent alone, ignoring everything else that could influence his production?

One of my leagues is a 16 team keeper (keep 3).

I don't have Barkley, but I did snag Peterson in the 16th round. Maybe I'll make a nice little profit off of that pick now. I have Cook and Mostert, so I need to see how bad his (Mostert) injury looks before offering up AP.

My over-under for combined wins of the two New York teams this year: 4.5

Frank Gore seen sneaking out the side door...

Yup, was never a doubt, he was my #1 and I also have Mostert.  Another year of not making the playoffs.

I came here to makea weak ass joke about talking about my fantasy football team, which nobody ever wants to hear about, but everyone is actually talking about their FF teams.

See ya, Oh, 2-0.  Thanks Kyler Murray in the 5th round and Diggs in the 6th.
