Guh.....WFT's guard had that thing where 400lbs of motion rolled up on his knee.  he's walkign off with assistance but that did not look good.  knees don't bend that way.  best wishes, Sherff.

ha, i love it.

So curious what they will rebrand as.

when I heart WFT I thought it was a joke.  astounding.

and I didn't know Rivera had cancer.  They're saying he might get a halftime IV.  that's balls of steel.  fark cancer, Mr.s Rivera.

According to people in the building, the halftime IVs have been a normal part of the plan since training camp.

That's insane.

Damnit. Wide open TD for the Chargers.

TD, Chargers. Tyrod who?

And I'd be impressed more if I didn't have the Chiefs in the Pick-'em.

As I've said before, this is pretty much a guarantee that they wanted one of the names the Virginia lawyer copyrighted and are being super cheap in their negotiations with him solely because they (read: Snyder) are indignant that someone would do that to them.

And Tyrod is getting his ass Wally Pipp'ed on a mostly national game.

It's actually very embarrassing for the NFL and the league should do something about it.

"Redskins" was embarrassing for the league and they didn't do shiat about that, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

ALso check out "Ted Lasso" if you can.  i'ts hilarious.  Premise is Jason Sudekis (SNL alum) plays an inept but funny American football coach, who gets fired but then gets hired by a failing English soccer team, and that's all I'll say.

It's basically "Major League" all over again - the owner o fthe soccer team wants the team to fail so she can sell it but...it's hilarious.  and you don't have to give half a fark about soccer to enjoy it.  it's more about the interplay between him and the players, him and the owner, etc.  It's really funny but also really sweet.  I laugh my ass off.  we've watced about 8-9 episodes and are all caught up.

The premise of Long Way Up makes me think of Ghost Rider (the book), and it makes me miss Neil. As much as he'd HATE the everloving bejesus out of it, I almost wish they could make a movie out of his story.

yup.  I happen to be a Native American and I hated all those, "welp, even the Indians don't care about the name, what's the big deal?"  those surveys were so farkign loaded and they used an incredibly small sample size.  "Given between eradicating alcoholism, drugs, and poverty, orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr the team changing its name, what you you prefer?"

While I feel bad for him, Driskel will be okay, at least for the 2nd, 4th and 6th weeks of that. 1st is anyone's guess, 3rd...it's DH vs a rookie, it's practically a given unless said rookie is Lamar Jackson. And given the way they're playing today, that Chiefs game is looking...interesting.

Braves? Bravery is a virtue. Indians? Okay, Wahoo had to go, but I don't find that any more racist than Vikings, tbh. I'm honestly ambivalent about most Native American team nicknames. But Redskins has always been so blatantly racist that I couldn't even believe they used it when I was a kid back in the 80's.

I understand the slow start. The Chargers are playing with a different QB and completely different gameplan than what KC prepared for. The second half will be more telling.
