Who cares. Really. Who the fark cares she stole 400 thousand bucks. If she stole 400 million or 400 billion, we'd be elevating her on a pedestal as a celebrity champion of capitalism. But because she was A POOR that figured out how the world actually farking works, and not an heiress bilking millions of people out of their life savings, we want her head on a pike.

Simple. You tell people you have it, and they believe you. That's how my mom faked cancer.

It doesn't really have to be complicated. Most people aren't going to demand MRI's, because who would lie about that, right? It's offensive to.most people to even suggest they'd be lying. Dad got real mad at me for saying I was pretty sure mom was.

Well, some people would. Lies are powerful things, we should not make it a habit to suffer them lightly.

The wobble girl shiat fails for many reasons. The easy one would have been, where's all the scratches, scabs, bruises? People with biological and even clinically established psychogenic gait-impairing disabilities fall. They fall a lot. If they're otherwise healthy enough, they get back up and slow it down a bit, for awhile, but they fall, and get hurt.

This is one thing people don't understand when they say "why would people lie about [X]"

People who don't have something but want something don't give a shiat about making it up.
And we all do it to some extent. Who hasn't called in sick to get a day off work. Just most of us never fake cancer or disability or being a crime victim.

Over 25% of the population has fatty liver disease.  It has no symptoms so it's probably way higher than that. They usually have to do a liver biopsy too which not many people get done.

Also, I don't really buy the heart failure by fatty liver story.

Pretty sure I knew a guy who was faking a brain tumor at a university I attended.  He was just mentally unstable. But everyone believed him.  He gave me seriously creepy vibes. I'm pretty sure he wasn't even a student, he just went to the university to hang out.
