So karma got her in the end anyway. She dead. Who cares if it was brain tumor or fatty liver or whatever else? She got all that money and those trips and celebrity contacts because she was dying young. She died young. I fail to see the problem here.

I'm so tired of hearing about karma. There's no such thing as karma. Look at all the evil people who are living large and all the good people who end up in gutters STFU about karma already. Besides, this lying biatch didn't deserve to die.

Article cited opiates.  The main difference is that you can quit cocaine.

Mmmmmmm heroin.

It's epic. Should only be done once.
//
Why don't people realize that?
My first and only dose was so good, I realized there was reason why PPL get in so much trouble with it.
I was ooooooh , yeah, that's evil.

My behavior with other substances tells me that's a line I should never even approach, let alone cross.

Most definitely.
Considering how hard it is for me to stop cocaine when I was doing it it was insane that I played around with that heroin one time.
/
On side note. 6 to 9 months before I finely stopped doing cocaine. It wasn't even getting me high. I was only making feel ugly.  Why that wasn't enough to make me stop is scary.
Stop after I used a whole bunch determined to feel good or die I didn't actually care what happened.
Finely after I left the emergency room I didn't abuse cocaine again. And only did gum rubs a few times every few decades.

freetomato: That was a rough 17. How does a 23 year old have fatty liver?

Over 25% of the population has fatty liver disease.  It has no symptoms so it's probably way higher than that. They usually have to do a liver biopsy too which not many people get done.

Also, I don't really buy the heart failure by fatty liver story.

The population of the United States, or the world? That British girl didn't look particularly overweight. I guess I (incorrectly?) associated fatty liver with hard drinkers, neglectful diabetics or obesity.

You don't have to be overweight to have it. I know plenty of skinny people that don't drink and eat healthy that have it. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is common as the cold. I think the U.S. has a slightly higher percentage. But 1 BILLION are estimated to have it globally.

It's hard to diagnose. Most of the time patients show up with other health problems (broken rib) and then find out they also have fatty liver besides what they came in for.

Genetics and/or poor diet. Source: I was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease at 30 and told I probably had it for the better part of a decade.

It didn't help that throughout and around my college years I survived on 50-cent snack cakes and free pretzel dogs from the other college kids at Auntie Anne's Pretzels. That and megaliters Of Pepsi.

dying from heart failure at age 23 in an otherwise "healthy" woman almost always means severe anorexia or bulimia. fatty livers dont kill people, guns do

mybluemake: The wobble girl shiat fails for many reasons. The easy one would have been, where's all the scratches, scabs, bruises? People with biological and even clinically established psychogenic gait-impairing disabilities fall. They fall a lot. If they're otherwise healthy enough, they get back up and slow it down a bit, for awhile, but they fall, and get hurt.

They get knocked down, but they get up again?

You are never gonna keep them down?

almejita: mongbiohazard: Mugato: How do you fake a brain tumor?

Actually that would be an interesting MRI -Photoshop contest.

Simple. You tell people you have it, and they believe you. That's how my mom faked cancer.

It doesn't really have to be complicated. Most people aren't going to demand MRI's, because who would lie about that, right? It's offensive to.most people to even suggest they'd be lying. Dad got real mad at me for saying I was pretty sure mom was.

Well, some people would. Lies are powerful things, we should not make it a habit to suffer them lightly.

What if it's a small lie, like "No honey, your new nose in no way makes you look like Jimmy Durante"?

Life threatening situation, reasonable exception to the rule.
