Oh, and I'd be ashamed if I didn't congratulate you.

Well, no matter the result, they're not going back to Beantown until at least Monday night. Also, they're in Orlando.

If I see the same uninspired shiat tonight, I'll assume there was something else really going on there.

Don't care...I finally was able to watch the game live with neither of my bitties around.

Wednesday I'll probably be watching Cookie Swirl or Kindly Keyin on youtube until my little bittie goes to bed.

Naido: They were talking before the game as if it was a done deal and he wasn't going. I can't blame him either way because, if he goes, doesn't he have to quarantine when he returns?

They said before the game that at halftime he was going to be checking his phone to see if his wife was headed to the hospital.

I took that to mean he'd consider leaving right then to meet her there.

But, I heard the same as you as far as it being his decision to stay in the bubble.

If he leaves (and now how could he after how he impacted this game) he wouldn't be back until midway through the finals if the C's were to make it that far.

And holy shiat, I love this kid Jaylen Brown. I just enjoy how deep he is and how thoughtful his responses are. He said he hardly slept in the last two days just waiting to play this game. And despite no sleep, he dominated this game.

On Hayward going home for the birth of his son, Stevens says that's his decision.

I have to think that Hayward has a tough choice to make.

On one hand...he finally is getting a son. You know that's important to him based on  his reaction on his gender reveal for his third daughter. He wants to be there.

On the other hand, he knows that he's missed a lot of time due to injury with the Celtics after they paid him a lot of money. He must really want to contribute to this run.

IAmRight: Yeah, just wanted to say why it's a MNF thing and not a SNF/"we're scared of the NFL" thing. It's a "we're not gonna piss off our broadcast partners" thing.

I agree. While there's not 100% crossover between NFL and NBA, there's enough and the NBA is in playoffs and the NFL is trying to get their steamroller going in week 2.

They were up by 9 after the first quarter.

They were up by as much as 20 and the Heat got as close as 6. But for the last three quarters they were only 2 pts better than them.

And that's what a good team does. Take the lead, you have your ebbs and flows, but you don't relinquish the league.

The next thing I need to see from them in this series is to win a game where they're behind anywhere past the first quarter.

I don't know...that was a pretty natural basketball move. Robinson just got his face in the arc.

jaylectricity: He's like your favorite writer. You talk about him enough. Are you him?

Eh, I wish :). Been pretty much a fanboy since Grantland.  There just aren't that many good basketball writers anymore. He's good at making advanced stat info interesting, but also does good game breakdowns that make me feel like I learned something.

I actually can't think of a good, current comparison in any of the sports that I follow.  Everyone ends up in TV; I still like to read about sports, especially basketball.

Celtics getting an early lead is nothing new. It's those last four minutes of the game where they've fallen apart.
