Deservedly so. They're going to kill a hard-fought rise in viewership with this bollocks.

It's doubly baffling when you'd think they'd want more people watching the PL now that Pulisic is a featured player for Chelsea.

I'd have to believe that if not for 2020 postponing everything, this wouldn't be happening. But with multiple events they cover all happening this weekend (one of which wasn't on their calendar at the start of this year), something had to lose.

Now, if this is still happening in; let's say February, then NBC deserves all the torching they get.

Counterpoint: there's no sports competition at this timeslot from those postponed events.

See my headline (I'm the subby for this thread). NBCSN as the Tour de France on. And from I've gathered, they can't just put sports on their other channels at will for some reason (regulations about those channels?). USA already has a Notre Dame game scheduled later today.

Somehow, I glossed over that completely. Do people really watch the Tour de France?

Might be the dumbest programming bump since ESPN Deportes regularly skipped La Liga to play the major golf tournaments around the turn of the millennium. Because god knows the people of the Caribbean cared about the green jacket.

Nobody sane is traveling right now, so why not? Honestly, I have that on the TV while listening to the 24 Hours of Le Mans on the computer (I don't care enough about this match to watch it) and I'll switch that to the TV if I hear something happen in the race.

The Guardian trying to use the commentator's curse:

Leeds goalkeeper Meslier is fantastic with the ball at his feet; he never looks hurried and has a great passing range.

I mean, if anyone from Untidy deserves it, it's Rashford.  The man has been a saint on the issue of children's hunger

And Leeds have their fourth?  So, Fulham's going to sty up for a cup of coffee, and Leeds are going to make some noise
