Honestly? I think that most politicians deserve to get investigated by an independent 3rd party.

Misread that initially as topless.  Not sure if that's better or worse considering the topic.

Just ask Donald J Trump who caused him to Tweet "See Sex Tape" and you'll be at the absolute bottom of Obamagate.

I promise.

So we have one party of openly corrupt people who are entirely comfortable with a incompetent president who is compromised by a hostile foreign power and another that has done unquestionably shady members.

I don't think you are intending to 'both sides are bad' this, but it sounds like it.  One party is basically an organized crime ring that abuses the system to place themselves above the law.  That must be the focus.  Nobody should get a pass.  But if there is a big fire and some little fires, you put the big one out.  Then  put out the small ones.  You don't worry about the fire's feeling and act like their all the same.

I would agree that some are more flagrant with their lawlessness than others. I would also agree that big fish come before little fish.

I just think, as silly as it is, that we should have one set of laws, standards, principles and code of ethics that apply equally to everyone regardless of who they are or who they know. And that those laws should be applied evenly and justly for everyone.

FTFA: "to examine whether Durham's probe has run afoul of DOJ policies meant to insulate criminal investigations from partisan whims and aims."

We all know why this investigation is going on AND why Barr will be releasing an update while the investigation is STILL ongoing (a first for the DOJ),

To be fair: It is an investigation that was instructed to have a conclusion before it started, and several of its officials have resigned as a result, so yeah. This investigation is purely political in nature and needs to be investigated for malfeasance.
