Wow, Kevin Smith, that;s some serious nepotism.

The move to HBO Max does open up the audience for the show a lot. I didn't get a chance to watch it or Doom Patrol until it came on HBO Max because I don't have a DCU subscription (although I kind of want it for the comics collection).

I f*cking loved season 1.

But I found season 2 a little disappointing.

Watching season 2, getting a kick.

HBO Max is worth it for this and Doom Patrol.  The only thing I don't like about Harley Quinn is Kaley Cuoco.
And I like her, I'm just not crazy about the voice.

I'm okay with the voice. At least it's a different take than forcing her to try Arleen Sorkin's Brooklyn accent, like a lot of Harley Quinn projects have.

DCU is dropping all its streaming TV in January and moving to an all-comics format.  So this isn't surprising news.

Whoever voices Bane in that show should get some sort of award.

Oh no, it's moving to a platform people will actually watch!

I am this credit card's reckoning!

The entire voice cast is amazing. And fantastic writing helps, too.

Any word on if they'll be migrating Batman: TAS, Superman: TAS, Justice League, etc. over to HBO Max or another streaming platform?

My family says "I am [X]'s reckoning" regularly.

Also thanks to Alan Tudyk, anytime I see her on TV, I say "It's Lady gaGA!!"

I thought they were looking at dropping physical comics. I may have misread. Maybe something to do with distribution.

Also, fork HBO MAX. Between Roku box, Fire stick, and a smart TV you would think I could access it, but Nooooooo.

Seriously, these companies need to get over themselves, or cable (with its internet ownership) is going package time.

Or, as we used to know it, cable.

Roku and Amazon: we will supply your new channel/ app for our standard cut. In exchange, you get access to a crap load of our users. Netflix, Prime (in the case of Roku), and almost every other service has found the deal to be amazingly profitable.

HBOMAX: Fork you.

Seriously, MAX has no interest in negotiating from what I have read. Personally, I think this is a power play for users from Warner/ AT&T. They think MAX is enough to get people to change service providers. I'm pretty sure they are wrong and will buckle eventually.

I prefer Fire sticks to Roku, but Roku has amazing market penetration. The reason for this is the same reason I have.a Roku box. I needed a new center speaker for my TV. The highest quality one in my price range was pre-loaded with Roku. I got a Roku box accidentally. Amazingly good idea from whoever thought it up.

That's what I'm hoping. I've been kind of annoyed that Batman TAS isn't on HBO Max.

Is/was DCU worth it for the comics? I have Comixology, and one thing I dislike is they usually only have 1 or maybe 2 volumes of a lot of the DC series. Marvel is hit or miss on that, but some series they have most of the run. Other publishers are also hit or miss. Really liked what I read of Saga, but the whole run is not available. Wicked + Divine, they only have the first volume. I don't want to spend a ton to read a whole series, just wish the service had more available.

NEED BATMAN: TAS. It was the single best iteration of Batman. They managed to make even the weirdest of the rouge's gallery a serious threat. Look at this guy. Stupid idea, but they totally sold it. Amazing writing and animation.

We got a new, higher-end LG smart TV last year, and no effing HBO Max.  We're supposed to get it free with our DirecTV account, but no effing apps for any TVs except Samsung.  And if you have an older Samsung that isn't supported anymore, like our second TV, you're still screwed.

But yesssss.  You're welcome.

The aftv site has an HBO Max app you can load to the Fire Stick.
There's an install guide in there somewhere.

It's been working great for me.

You viscerally felt it every time that dummy got shredded. Standards and Practices really let them cut loose on the inanimate object.

Baby Doll? With the haunting ending of "I didn't mean to..."
Maybe the only real bad one was the Farmer with his genetic monsters and the rocket silo.

Mr Freeze went from a joke to a fan favorite. Even Maxie Zeus wasn't so bad IIRC.
