I think this about the least of his worries right now.

I wonder how many fans those actresses have in prison.

What do they do about the Queen's creepy son?

I know a few docs that do surgery consults for prisons, and I had the same idea as you initially. One corrected me very quickly, "Look at him. The guy (Weinstein) is fat, old, and balding. He still was intimate with how many starlets? He's like a GOD to those guys."

Then that must make Ron Jeremy the UberGod of the prison system.

Then in the interest of equality, I say we put him in a maximum-security women's prison.

Weinstein didn't knight himself.

Does he have UK citizenship?  I thought Americans aren't allowed to hold titles of nobility.

Probably, as long as there weren't any preteens involved. I don't know the specifics in his case. I mean, you have to understand that, it is a different culture. Young women are seen as trophy markers, unless it's the guy's own kid. Banging that 15yo runaway? All good. After all you fed her and gave her a place to sleep and/or drugs. So she owed you sex.

Ha! Won't make as much of a difference as you think. Many of the women in women's prison are used to being sex being an exchange. More than one of the counselors used to describe how many women in prison view sex as purely transactional. To them sex is just something that is used to get things, like food / shelter / drugs / items. As long as he has anything to offer, he'll be treated like any other person who can get them stuff.

The sad part is our social safety net conditions runaways, and kids living in poor situations, to treat sex as a commodity to be traded. That applies to boys and girls. We had younger (<16yo) boys who called just like the girls. They all traded sex. Drug addiction also starts at this point in many cases.

Like that's unique to prison.

First, it was an honorary award; second, it'a not a title of nobility. Plenty of Americans have honorary British awards, including knighthoods. I suspect peerages would be a different matter, but there aren't honorary peerages anyway.

Good thing he didn't win a VC with his CBE or they'd have to let him keep it.

"The King feels so strongly that, no matter the crime committed by anyone on whom the VC has been conferred, the decoration should not be forfeited. Even were a VC to be sentenced to be hanged for murder, he should be allowed to wear his VC on the gallows."

According to the dadjoke podcast Omnibus I'm listening to right this moment, those OBEs are honorary for non-UKers, and blah blah blah, 'Murican law doesn't get in the way, and .... "Frawn-teer!"

Good. Kind of made me sick to have share something in common with Weinstein.  I take my title of peerage seriously.

Well if you were a peer, you wouldn't be "Sir", you would be "Lord", "Baron", etc
