edmo: I could live with 79.

I could live with a 79 on a regular course.  Lefty is playing one set up by the frustrated jocks at the USGA as revenge on PGA players.

/7 guys under par?  On Friday morning?
//is this the US Open or the Kemper Open?
///you can see how long I've been away from golf

Was it last year or a few years ago when Phil got so pissed off that he chased down a putt he missed and hit it again while it was still rolling? That was funny.

He is 50 years old. Old enough to play in the Senior Tour and pull a Hale Irwin. I'm impressed he is in contention as often as he is. And it's still fun watching him get into impossible situations only to somehow get out with a bogey or par.

Before Googling it, I knew it was either last year or 2018 because I remember the video of it. Turns out, it was 2018.

As for this year, the cut line was +6. Those who didn't get there, along with Phil:

PGA Champion Collin Morikawa
Defending champion Gary Woodland
Matt Kuchar
Some guy named "Tiger"
Jordan Spieth
Sergio Garcia

/unfortunately, cheatin' Patrick Reed leads
