Just keep the news coming, y'all.

Something new every day.

It will have no effect on the monster's true cultists, but it will prevent the smoothbrains who can't seem to form long-term memories from forgetting how awful he is.

Translation: He was fine with dismantling public schools, locking kids in cages and turning university graduates into eternal debt slaves.

But .... he wants to still have a career in politics once Trump crashes and burns.

joined the Republican Political Alliance for Integrity and Reform (REPAIR), the group announced Thursday.

Sounds like they focus-grouped the name. "Republican Voters Against Trump" has two strikes - "Against" and "Against Trump."

"For Integrity and Reform" is nebulous enough that without the "Republican" opener, it could be any place on the political spectrum. But it's also "for" something, and that first something is "Integrity" which is something that Trump lacks.

They've gone back to saying the quiet part quietly.

They're still gonna derp because taxes need cutting for the rich and universal healthcare is "socialism." This is about saving the Senate R Majority, and blocking up any positive change a Biden / Harris Administration might make.

It probably said that the specific rat went back to whence it came in the first place, which doesn't really answer the question.

Or they used a dart board to the backronym.

DeVos is the perfect pick for the Trump administration: greedy, selfish, without compassion or consideration, and grossly unqualified to do her job.

I thought election years were precisely the time to play politics.

(I posted this on another forum)

It's a controlled drip. We'll see the biggest guns, if there are any, in late October. Biden's team seems less sure of victory than Hillary's and I suspect there's more than one former Obama team member telling him how to manage a campaign during a national crisis. And, of course, Biden was a former Obama team member.

Remember 2008, when Colin Powell said he would vote for Obama but wasn't going to campaign? He was late October, ten days before the campaign. I suspect that gave a few wavering Black conservatives and stability uber alles types "permission" to vote for Obama. IIRC, it dominated the news cycle for a couple crucial days in the run up.

Now his endorsement was shifted off to July.

We're seeing a drip of names coming out every few days. Now it's the "people who actually worked with Trump/Pence" people. Last month it was the "former elected Republicans and Bush alumni." We might see one or more of the "former Trump cabinet" secretaries endorsing Biden later this month.

There will likely be one or more Very Big Names endorsing Biden in late October. Not sure if it'd be Dole, Ryan, or even one/both of the Bushes.

Now, to be fair, it's not like any of these folks will cause the race to go from its current 7-8% gap to a 15% gap. But it will be a steady rate of salami slicing - keeping wavering folks in the Biden camp, and slicing off another few of the small town Chamber of Commerce types.

Charters are a lot more expensive than public schools, and us tax payers are going to find that out in a decade or two.  The reason charters are so profitable is that they siphon off the pension and health care dollars from the employees and take it as profit.  However, tax payers then have to pay again for the teacher's health care once they retire.  It's double dipping.  But Stonks amirite?

Yeah, any wagon that Scaramucci or any other Press Secretary/Communications Director'shiatched themselves to I can safely ignore.  Sure, if you want to play the role of the crusading knight avenging the misdeeds of the King go right ahead, but that doesn't diminish all the water you publicly carried for him, and the blatant lies you told the American people.

Every administration has a few people that leave to 'spend time with their families', but has any administration had people leave and then join/build a foundation to actively take down the administration?

How big of an asshole do you have to be for your staff to actively seek out your destruction.

Why yes, Dr. Frankenstein--We do seem to have a monster situation on our hands.  Do you know anything about it?

/Monsterism have been part and parcel of the Republican party since the Southern Strategy.
//It used to be competent monsterism.
///Now that it's incompetent it's a problem
