PvtStash: i'm pretty sure the answer to this conundrum, is dead people.
Whatever way can be foudn to leave behind detailed realistic enough, unmistakable enough depictions of dead humans.
Pretty sure we'll not see depictions of us dead and decide it means this is a good place to stick around.
Dead you is a pretty universal negative symbol for us form the past, and us now, and us in the future.

We over stylize and make cartoonsih dead us in order to make it not be so naturally ominous. So i feel pretty sure we'll always find real looking dead and suffering us is never cool.

The real problem is making that to out last anything that's ever been made before and maybe even all of what we now known for an us of the future we have no concept or understating of, other than they probably still look a good bit like us.

Uh, you realize that when mummies were first dug up the general human reaction was to eat them, right?

Actually I read that years ago in this fascinating book, Food in History. The companion, Sex in History, is an equally good read.

I have a modest goal of building a small Stonehenge in the cove we live on. I want to construct it out of bricks when the lake level is low during the winter. It would be submerged the rest of the year. I just need to figure out the scale.
