Tried watching it and just lost track of it as the network bounced it around.

Saw maybe 3 or 4 mostly forgettable episodes...

It started out good but I lost interest after maybe 5 episodes

Hey!  That's Portland in the picture in the article.  They should have used that instead of Canada for the shoot.

We had it on the DVR, and it was nice to burn through the season over a week during work when stuck at home.

Liked it, but can't say I'm surprised it's getting cancelled. There's always the comics for those who were invested.

Big 3 TV Exec "Hey order another Cop/ Hospital Drama, like every other one we have done over the last 20 years".   Yet they still keep cranking them out, and no one wants them.

It was ok. It had a female Magnum vibe. (80's version, not reboot)

Started out strong with an interesting, flawed lead and different types of supporting cast members not typically found on tv then it turned into a love triangle drama. No thanks.

Damn it. The wife and I liked it quite a bit.

Look, I like Cobie as much as everyone but that show had some major issues. What it wanted to be was one of them.

There's clearly a baseline that people want to watch.  The Chicago stuff, the Rookie, New Amsterdam, SVU, Blue Bloods, etc are all still going.  Stumptown wasn't powered by Dick Wolf or a bankable star(Cobie Smulders is a quality actress, but she's not Tom Selleck, Nathan Fillion, or even Ryan Eggold as far as bankability with the demographic that watches those shows go)

Oh, and I loved the 5.0 I regretted selling mine at the same moment they drove it off my garage.

I agree with everything in this thread

But where am I going to get my random mix tape fix?

Seeing that fox mustang makes me want to watch the show.

I wasn't not looking up 5.0s on eBay and thinking "they're not THAT unreliable...right?"

Then I realized it's 2020 and those cars can be 40 years old.

I'd go to her town with my stump.

Not my best work.

I would like to point out that she has one of the most perfect faces ever.

Watched a few episodes but just couldn't get into it. I think there was just too much drama- as someone mentioned above, a love triangle in a cop show? bleh.

Well hell, this was my Rockford Files. Really dug it.

It had its ups and downs, but I actually enjoyed it overall.  There are plenty of other shows they could have canceled before this one.

*shrug*

I liked it. The producers are shopping it around for a new home; I hope they find one.

There are a lot worse shows on tv.

2020-09-17 3:28:36 PM
You had Colby, Jake Johnson, Michael Early, Camryn Manheim, and (briefly) Donal Logue, playing a character similar to the one in Terriers. W/ that cast, it should've been a lot better than it was, but I felt like it could get there eventually.

Put it on cable, so we can have some Cobie nudity.

it was one of the best new entries.

fark off network execs

Too much boyfriend drama, otherwise pretty good.

I think I quit halfway through the season.

Change the show's name to "Slurptown" and you have three times your audience back.

2020-09-17 7:48:11 PM
Whaaaaat, come on. Although it was very obvious no one from Portland wrote for that show. Characters pumping their own gas in the middle of the city? Newp. I'd wager most Portland metro area folks have never touched a gas nozzle.

Guess who didn't watch this show, which was not a cop or hospital drama ...

Yeah, Wednesday at 10 pm Eastern for every single episode is confusing.

She's attractive but am I the only one that thinks she's a mediocre actor at best?

I guess I didn't need to say she is attractive. That has zero bearing on her ability.
