Time to retreat to the WH bunker with a covfefe and recharge his herd mentality.

You mean the arms deals?

2020-09-17 6:27:54 AM
Well technically the accords are a peace deal between two nations that were not fighting one another.

Like the relationship I have with Emily Ratajkowski is very intense despite her not knowing who I am.

2020-09-17 6:39:44 AM
Not even a piecemeal peace deal.

Jake Havechek: You mean the arms deals?

Yup, Completely fu*king ridiculous to call that a "peace accord".

Is there anything these cretins can do that resembles human activity? At any level?

We must hope the Nobel committee or whatever is smart enough to realize that this is what is going on and doesn't give the Orange Pusbag one.

I would've told Kushner right to his smug face: "You want to bring peace to the Middle East? Stop the genocide of Palestinians at the hands of Israel."

That'll get him to ragequit in a hurry.

I am working on a historic peace deal between Luxembourg and Peru.  Where is my medal?

No shiat. Even dipshiats whose fathers have to buy their diplomas understand that the first thing that has to happen to make a peace treaty between two groups is that those two groups have to have been in some kind of conflict at some point.

No peace medal until you get at least one of them to agree to spend hundreds of millions on weapons.

Progress? A little, yes - with some of the players. Peace? No. Certainly not time to start handing out medals and declaring mission accomplished

Kushner cancels interview with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell after saying Abraham Accords is 'not Middle East peace'

And Fox's headline grammatically links Kushner with that statement, not Mitchell.

Nonsense, it was a bribe to get regional allies not to be openly hostile with each other and instead focus on their hostilities with Iran... you know Middle East peace.

Kush is also currently working on a peace deal between The Crips and the League of Women Voters.

It's not their fault, they're just regular Nazis.

There is no peace in the middle east until the Palestinians are protected. And Trump & Co. have done everything they can the help Israel scuttle any future hope of the proper Two State Solution.

I would like to announce the newest historic  peace accord reached between me and the sandwich shop down the street from where I live.  We never had any animosity, but I finally got my 10th sandwich free with my punch card, so it's way more newsworthy  peace than we had.  I await my nomination from the Noble Committee any day now.

why anyone would bother to interview this world-class douchebag is beyond me.  who the fark cares what he has to say or what he's doing.  he's just a glaring example of someone being in a position with no qualifications for it, and way beyond their competency.  same with that thing he's married to.

1- my hate for potus is NOT IRRATIONAL!
2- i'm all for peace in the middle-east
3- i'm more concerned about peace here in the midwest
4- jerwood's lack of comprehension that the middle-east is vastly complex leaves me doubtful
5- the Palestinian land rape will continue.  won't it?

Friedman put his finger to the wind and is now-anti Trumper.  He hopes everyone forgets the out and out pro-corporate and extreme capitalist stances he used to favor that helped bring a person like Trump to power.

How is agreeing to sell weapons to two countries as long as those two agree not to use them against each other, not peace? Just because they can still use them against others in the middle east? Oh come on.

The would be out of his depth managing a 7-11.  He is the most illustrative example of how meritocracy is gone in the USA and nepotism and classism took over.  Key presidential advisor...  right.

I once royally pissed off my mom because she was yammering about israel and i, not even thinking about who i was talking to, said "I don't give a shiat about israel, and both them and the palestinians are blowing each other up over imaginary lines in the desert.  We waste our money even bothering with that part of the world"

I think she cried after that statement, i can't remember fully.

"Of course it's a peace deal! We guaranteed we'd sell weapons to BOTH sides, didn't we? It remains the only equitable way to keep the balance of power stable. If we sell to just ONE side, things will tip to the side we don't sell to, so really, we're just doing this as a favor to those people."

They saw Kushner and company company coming and rubbed their hands together in glee. "These idiots are ripe for the fleecing. Let's see what we can get from them."

Gullible rubes like Trump can be spotted a mile away.

Member selling arms to Iraq so they could use them as our proxies against Iran?  Member how well that worked for us and in no way did that decision come back to bite us?

The recent normalization of relations between 2 states who haven't clashed is Netanyahu inserting himself into our domestic politics. Transparently so. It has as much to do with peace as me having my car filled with gas.

He is quite confident that everyone will have forgotten about his previous stances within one Friedmann Unit. Sadly, he is probably right.

I think I hate him more than the obvious neo-con editorial writers.

In fairness, although those little gulf states have never been at war with Israel, having them recognize that Israel exists is a small but significant gesture. One would hope it leads to more countries doing the same.

But if you want to give credit to someone for bringing peace to the Middle East, I'd go with president El-Sisi of Egypt. After his country ended up broke following their short-lived and aborted experiment with democracy, he took a bunch of money from the Saudis. Then, he suddenly realized that a couple of strategic Egyptian islands in the Red Sea belonged to Saudi Arabia (ie, he sold them).

Because those islands form a choke point in the Strait of Tiran, and were used by Egypt to blockade Israel in the past, their status is detailed in the Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty.

See where I'm going... in order to take the islands on 2017, Israel had to approve and Saudi Arabia ended up agreeing to 'respect' the Camp David Accords and guarantee the free navigation of Israel in the Red Sea. The Saudis may have tied themselves in knots to not say that they are a 'party' to the peace treaty but they *are* a farking party to the Camp David accords thanks to Egypt.

If el-Sisi wasn't an evil despot, someone should nominate him for a Nobel Prize.
