Oh no. I mean most of Trump's followers were fine with <takes deep breath>:

- the inability to make Mexico pay for a wall
- being scammed by grifters to crowdfund a wall
- the obvious violations of the Hatch act on multiple occasions
- various felons being employed by the White House like Manafort, Cohen, etc.
- Russians being invited to the White House to laugh about firing Comey to prevent the Russia investigation
- blatant lying about Mueller "exonerating" him
- Dismantling all legal infrastructure to enforce ethics in government
- the inability to force NATO to "pay their fair share"
- the inability to prosecute Hillary Clinton for made up crimes
- the inability to bring any of the "Deep State" to justice
- the inability to stop PizzaGate/Wayfair or bring any of these "crimes" to justice
- the blatant misogyny
- the blatant racism
- the breaking of traditions like attending the White House Correspondents' Dinner
- the deploying of federal troops on the streets of cities, which will give a Democratic president the precedent to do the same to their cities when they can
- the breaking of the postal service to win the election which has prevented some veterans from getting medications mailed to them
- the 73 days he called the coronavirus a Democratic hoax
- the nothing done about the assassination of a journalist
- family separation at the border, when absolutely none of his supporters have documentation proving they are American citizens. They just trust their white face is proof enough.
- the tactics that result in less American citizens being able to vote
- using the power of the bully pulpit to berate powerful women, particularly black women and women of color
- the using of Trump properties as a way to skim money off the top of the treasury by charging the Secret Service millions of dollars to rent rooms to protect him, all the while claiming he's giving his pay to charity (Give away $400K to gain $32M? Sure, I'd take that trade!)
- the constant golfing, far more than Obama ever did
- the lifting of sanctions applied under the Magnitsky Act, making the law a worthless piece of paper
- calling John McCain not a war hero
- inviting Kid Rock to the White House (check out the song he wrote for a kids' movie, fast-forward to 2:18)
- inviting Ted "shiat my pants to get out of Vietnam" Nugent to the White House after writing a song about underage girls
- remarking that he'd date his daughter, if only it weren't for that pesky taboo against it
- remarking he will date a young girl he passed on an elevator
- the glaring Jeffrey Epstein connections on video (yes, Bill Clinton too, but that doesn't absolve Trump)
- the blatant disregard for sound leadership
- the firing of anyone who puts up any opposition to his ideas
- his entire past prior to the year 2000
- the fact most of his businesses he ran himself have failed, and his one success was in entertainment, where he was fired from NBC after starting his campaign with a racist tirade
- the cozying up to dictators like Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Duterte
- using family members as top government officials, like how dictators do shiat
- and 179K deaths from COVID, which is equal to 30 9/11s, but spread out over 8 months

But you know, I think this Bahrain stuff is really going to wake them up and make Trump very unpopular.

With Hunter Biden working for someone outside the family (and country), it's nepotism. But with Kushner, he's qualified for this sort of thing, it just didn't quite work this time. Them's the breaks.

who cares about america and their fee fees. The issue at hand concerns the major players of the world; of which the US has been side lined due to the impotence of its leadership. This is about a very messy issue that was headed off (briefly) between Israel and its neighbors over this little thing of annexing everything Palestinian.

/ I'm sure that will just be called off, and it is not like this would be a rallying cry by any Leaders in the region who are looking to increase their influence.
// Its not like any of the nations near Israel refuse to even name the country our put it on their maps in the international airport.

Porous Horace: Why is normalization a bad thing?

They have a large, fanatically religious political block similars to our Tea Party -> QAnon -> whatever.  All ruling politicians and monarchs may despise them but they are forced to pay attention and avoid inciting them too much.  These groups are capable of initiating highly destructive religious violence and they are not shy about chanting "Death To ____" and they mean it.

There are a number of these factions but the thing that unites them is the universal goal that the Jewish State of Israel must be destroyed.  Full stop.

There may be a lot of Arab political leaders that see benefits to normalization but those benefits are outweighed by the reaction that can be expected from those factions.

I would say normalization isn't a bad thing.  The bad thing is believing this administration could pull it off after utterly ruining the State Department and delegating said tasks to Jared farking Kushner and Pompeo.  This is and has been a huge issue since Israel was formed.  The farking moron who wanted to head the Department of "Swagger" with no respect for history, nuance, or subtlety isn't going to solve something that many infinitely more competent people have failed at already.  And Kushner is the poster child of incompetent nepotism.   The world respects actual power.  Hes just a farking toy they are messing with to get something.

UAE? Not happening due to efficient state intelligence agencies that have a decent surveillance apparatus.

E.g. highway cameras take 600 pictures per second 24 hours a day including inside the vehicle occupants, license plates and make and model of the car.

Another e.g: all residents and citizens of the UAE have their fingerprints, dna sample and retina scans on file with the government. Tourists only have their retinas scanned at passport control.

Saudi Arabia? Much much weaker interior intelligence agencies and many sympathize with extremist groups like Pakistan.
