Fox News is fair and balanced, and not totally corrupt - but we're working on fixing that last part - Donald Trump

Oh yeah. Sending the head of the "Department of Justice" to threaten a media outlet is a totally normal, not at all tinpot dictator thing to do.

Yeah but Bill Clinton talked to Loretta Lynch once

Not gonna lie, fox is strong but if the sweaty meat puppet is leaning on them, they probably won't be able to take it.

Bill Barr is one of those wanna-be king makers who conveniently glazed over every historical world leader mistake they tried to warn him about in college.

He sat there, with his rich christian arrogance, and thought "There's no way this could be that hard".

You're mistaken. I asked the Consigliere General and it turns out that it is in fact totally legal. Don't leak anything about it to the media though. That would be bad.

Of all the conservative pieces of sh*t I'd like to see explode on live TV, Bill Barr is three of the top five.

I don't think anyone is fighting unfortunately.

More like a friend who said something to make another friend uncomfortable, and the two friends worked it out by talking about their feelings.

Maddow hit on this last night with the writer of the new book Hoax. They are struggling to try and defend bunkie and the Rs where their best and safer game is attacking the Ds. It was not specifically said (IIRC) but Fox wants Biden to win so they can go back to what they do best - attack everything and support nothing.

It does make sense when you think about it.

It was also a rare collaboration between networks. The writer Brian Stelter works for CNN and it is rare to cross that line but all agreed to make sure the story got out.

Any conservative pundit or outlet will tell you business booms for them when a Democrat is in office and they're playing defense.

Fox needs a bad guy in the office (usually)... Trump was an abnormality.
If this was between Biden and say Romney, their ratings would TANK if Romney got in.
The trump thing is also too much a wild card they need stability to build programming blocks around - weeks in advance. All news stations are having to scramble daily at the president's actions. Look at a show like Last Week Tonight, do you think they want to do the trump attack episode every week? No they want to tackle other topics like their pay day loans and trailer house industry but they can't for the same reason Fox can't... BOTH sides want to hear nothing but TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP.
Media in general knows this rating boon will falter at some point from exhaustion if it's another four years.
They want to be scream look at what the radical left is doing to the senate, house and presidency when the wave hits in November.

I give them 20 days, then they will subtly turn on the trump doubt for their followers... but not in a way "he might lose" but opening the idea to the viewer that all of them may have been conned like a door to door salesman taking their hard earned money for a never delivered product and promise. They will grumble and talk to you like "oh wow we couldn't have known, let's focus on these down ballot races and elect Biden for now."

More like playing attack? They are not defending anything. The hate flying out of any breitbart main page is too think to wade through sometimes. The ratio of pro bunkie to hate is pretty low. 99% is hate shiat.

While I haven't always agreed with Andrew Napolitano I've always respected him for his given opinions in that the letter next to the person's name has no impact on what he says, he isn't a partisan bullshiatter. His strict adherence to protecting the rights of the individual (civil liberties) is something I have deep admiration for.

In this speech he rips the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch for their infringements on civil rights from the founding all the way through to President George W. Bush when this speech was given in 2007. All too often, civil rights are given up by a pliant citizenry.

The only one that covered his latest rallies during the Dem convention was CSPAN as far as I know. I checked them out and the hinges are gone. They were that bad. His audience was maybe 100, 200 if that. They didn't show much of the crows but it was small.

He no longer has the draw and yeah, at some point fox has to turn on him.

I'd like to be his hangman and purposely f*ck it up so it's extra painful and lasts much longer than it should.

Or better yet, let Percy from The Green Mile be out front for once and electrocute Barr dry.

Or let the govt make some money, all of which will go to families ripped apart at the border and persons murdered by police, as well as protesters who were hurt by police and mercs during the uprisings. Allow the public to inflict small, but very painful, torturous acts that make his demise as horrid as possible. Charge $100 to get him in the eye with a rubber b****t, etc. Use your imagination.

The Constitution must be changed immediately if Biden and the dems sweep the presidency and the Senate, and hold the house, so that never again can a president have a co-conspirator as the head of the DOJ. To me this is the most pressing issue to avoid it again in the future. Also very strict punishment and immediate termination for even the slightest hint of impropriety.
