(Axios)   Everyone's high on the Bannon news right now, but a federal judge just threw out Trump's attempt to block Manhattan DA Vance from seeing his tax returns. You know, the guy investigating Trump for massive fraud   (axios.com) divider line

I need to know where this is on the Rae Rae scale.

If the Manhattan DA is involved, is this indeed the coveted "state charges"

This is in relation to a state grand jury investigation in to possible various tax and business record state fraud  matters by not only Trump, but the Trump organization and I believe some family members.

Trump can find a way to stall for 75 more days, and either the DOJ will make SDNY drop the Bannon charges or keep replacing people until they get someone who will, or he'll get commuted or pardoned. If he was willing to do it for outright traitors Trump will do so for some minor grifting. That's just regular business to him.

Vote.

Only if the current slate of domestic and international election fraud isn't successfully, thoroughly, overwhelmingly, and quickly challenged in the courts, without the GOP ringers in judgeships.

They'll do illegal stuff, ensure it's too late to fix it, and claim victory/accuse the Dems of fraud, and hope to keep power in the chaos.

"Mr. Trump, everyone around you has been arrested and/or convicted for corruption and malfeasance and yet you claim to have had no knowledge of the wrongdoing. The question I have for you then is this, are you lying about being corrupt and should be removed from office, or just to stupid to perform the job you were elected to do to see it happening right in front of you?"

Only because the Hatch act is supposed to be enforced by the executive branch. Kelly of green gabble has violated the law multiple times.

Just to be clear these are state charges.  So Barr and Trump have limited options.  #45 can't pardon himself in this case.  Same thing for the pending fraud charges against Bannon, and Trumpy isn't exactly friends with Governor Cuomo.

Wow. That's extraordinary.

For you non-law talking guy types, it is customary to give a litigant a chance to amend his pleadings to state a cause of action.  If the order specifically excludes that right, the judge is effectively saying Trump's argument was so flawed and baseless it is all but sanctionable.
