NBA: best Big Four commissioner.
NHL: easier/more natural to isolate in Canada, where >20% of teams are already.
NFL: hasn't had the chance to screw up yet.

MLB? run by an owners' toady who is somehow less competent than Selig. plus, more distancing on the field and less physical contact relative to the other sports lends a false sense of security.

My guess as a layman is that the vulnerable moments include when a man is on base, standing in viral proximity to the baseman. And of course, the catcher and home-plate umpire are vulnerable, too.

They should do what we used to do when we were kids and call out "Invisible man on first!" then go back to the dugout
