cretinbob: Yeah, he's not leaving willingly.

Nope. He will pre-emptive contest the election more and more until November. This is what he does. He gets ahead of it and undermines the rule of law.  He will not accept the election as legal and his followers won't either.

I honestly can't fathom the people who still say we're being melodramatic saying he won't leave. Do they honestly think anything is beyond him? That he will act like a rational person?

No, our only hope now is that law enforcement will side with the law over the guy who tells them they have the right to do whatever they want. So we're boned. I hope Canada takes refugees from the US at that point.

So even if he loses by 300 EC votes, and is down 10,000,000 on the popular vote, he'll still refuse to concede, and spend the next three months burning everything down with bullshiat executive orders, midnight massacres, calling for investigations into anything and everything, and doing his best to gut the legal system at both the Federal and NY State level to avoid indictment the second after he's no longer POTUS.

He will be most dangerous during that timeframe..

Yeahyeahyeah...listen. Let's deal. I can get large quantities of curds (both white and yellow) for a smallish apartment in Thunder Bay. If you can get me a house, I guarantee the curds will still be warm from the vat.

At some point, Twitter and the press need to shut down these kinds of statements.  They are even more dangerous than the Covid BS he spews.

If Biden wins (if), Kamala needs to make it very clear that anyone enabling any lame duck shenanigans will have their lives turned upside down. Anyone that refuses to allow Trump to burn the place to the ground will be given some leeway.

It actually scares me to think about what this maniac will do during that lame duck period of time if he loses.  Same for the Republicans in the Senate if they lose the chamber.  They will cause as much chaos as humanly possible on their way out.

Right wingers: pretty much the only people actually ever caught doing election fraud.

Don't talk to right wingers as if they are people with legitimate opinions and beliefs. They do not. shiat all over everything they pretend to care about, tell them to get fukt, and then bulldoze the shiat they love.

He's going to try something in the courts, thinking that they can't make him leave while a lawsuit is pending. I'm confident that SCOTUS will make rapid rulings, and I'm somewhat confident they'll go against him.

Subby, we know he's fat, but he's not so fat as for his bone to break under his own weight and turn into a blood, salsa-like mass on the floor the Oval Office.  In fact, I think the stress of all of these post-stroke interviews has caused him to lose a few pounds.

He'll claim that whatever the results show on election night are the final results if they have him ahead.  He'll try to declare any states that announce after election night as invalid.  The press will needs to start nipping this argument in the bud instead of just letting him set the stage for it.

no, it's going to be worse than that. History is littered with people who couldn't accept elections and it winds up being very bad for them. King mob ultimately wins.

But it's more than that. They're justifications to his base that committing crimes is acceptable and even essential to beat the Democrats.

About 19% of ballots in the special election in Paterson were rejected.

There is criminal fraud tied to mail in ballots being prosecuted, but there is no indication that those 19% of ballots are entirely tied to that criminal case but not regular ballots rejected because signatures didn't match, ballots were received late, etc.

More to the point - the criminal investigation started because the USPS found a mail box stuffed with ballots and reported it.  That is - it is a demonstration of the system working, not an example of failure of vote by mail.

True, but we, the "mob," had better be prepared to do what needs doing.  The final question as to just how pussified this country's people have become?  It's going to get answered between November 3 and January 20.

2020-08-15 11:20:02 AM
Why is there such a long period of time between the election and inauguration? I guess so the loser has a chance to contest the results but Trump can do that even if he's not in office. It's probably a throw back to when it took that long to count the votes.

Rattlehead: He's leaving, one way or another.

Limo, helicopter or bag. I'll take any one.

Interesting. But it's not about the house. It's about who the executive branch chooses to obey.

I can totally see our local cops following his vague direction to round up democrats and shoot them for some sort of perceived election fraud, for example.
