He was actually really good in that one movie where he played an acerbic atheist in a wheelchair.

Saved

A very underrated movie.

He's currently dating Brenda Song- so he hasn't been doing too badly since

He seems to have come out the other end of child stardom about as well as anyone can be expected to.

It is good to see Culkin out and doing well.  I was pretty much sure that he wasn't going to make it past 28.  There were many, many things that were stacked against him that have done in many in the same shoes.

The scale ranges from Ron Howard to Dana Plato. He's very much closer to the Ron Howard side of the spectrum, though not quite there.

Huh. His Reddit AMA from about two years ago was such a trainwreck- nearly every answer was an obnoxious joke answer, but not the funny kind, and also some incident with his band- that I had written him off as another child star that couldn't transition to adulthood and had even assumed this Twitter feed was ghostwritten. But if you've actually heard him be good on podcasts, something you can't exactly fake, then maybe he's a functioning adult.

Not a Joe Rogan fan but my feed comes up with random short interview clips and one of them was MaCaulay Culkin talking about how he's had a pretty good life and was remarkably lucky as far as child stars go. Something to the effect of there's a lot of messed up things that happen to kids in the industry and he thankfully didn't have those kind of experiences.

He's set for life and just does whatever weird stuff or acting jobs he wants to do. Hell, he was on Angry Video Game Nerd making fun of himself not to long ago.

The Dana Plato tragedy is compounded by the fact that her son also committed suicide.

Mary : How was your summer, Roland?
Roland : What?
Mary : Your summer. How was it?
Roland : Oh, it was great. I went roller-skating, water-skiing, learnt to kickbox. The usual.

Saved is a great movie, funny & thoughtful, plus we get Mandy Moore & Michael Stipe covering 'God Only Knows'.

Yup. Elijah Wood is pretty good too. It's a remake of a film called "The Bad Seed."

That's kind of why I like him now. He's wholesomely funny. He's also been doing a sort of 'tour' around popular YouTube shows the last couple years.

After Home Alone came out I was *constantly* asked if I was Macaulay Culkin whenever I went out in public. I looked a lot like him then. Less so now, but a lot of similarities in places.

I'd never even heard of this till now. I'm going to have to run it down. Ebert gave it 3.5 stars, which means it must have had some serious meat to it.

His best role was as "intern", opposite famed actor Rich Evans.

When he gets older he's going to do old age Home Alone. He's left behind at an old age home and some kids try to cause trouble and he stops them.

/He may have been drunk during the AMA
//Only real answer he gave was that he would love to do a full-length version of "Angels with Filthy Souls," the gangster movie that you see clips of in both of his Home Alone movies.
