This "superionic water" is not quite solid, nor is it a liquid - it's somewhere in between.

Like a Slurpee?   What flavor is it?

What they found was that the ice present in the cores of these giants is very much unlike the ice we're used to here on Earth. "In such exotic physical conditions, we cannot think of ice as we are used to," Grasselli and Baroni explain.

Dat ice!

"and oxygen!"
"Hydrogen and oxygen are the most common elements in the Universe"
"together with helium,"
"Hydrogen and oxygen and helium are the most common elements in the Universe, and then neon"

"I'll come in again"

This "superionic water" is not quite solid, nor is it a liquid - it's somewhere in between. Hydrogen atoms roam freely, while the oxygen molecules are locked in a "crystalline lattice."

So, it's kind of like metal, only instead of electrons flowing through a lattice of positively charged metal ions, you have protons flowing through a lattice of negatively charged oxygen ions.  That's actually pretty cool.

Except urine doesn't contain ammonia in any significant quantity.  Only when broken down by certain bacteria does it smell like ammonia.

The tragedy is that it takes public socialist tax money to probe Uranus.
