The Israel-UAE agreement is a hoax.

Of course the Neocon thinks this is a great deal for everyone involved...

No, no it isn't.

The Palestinians belong to the "other" Muslim mob.  The UAE is their enemy.

So Israel making an agreement with the UAE, with tRump's support, is about as farking evil as it can get.

Israel and the Sauds (next that is Sauds not Saudis) have been cooperating behind the scenes for years. They are both primarily concerned about weakening Iran and keeping themselves dominating their own zones of influence.

The UAE is the Sauds' little buddy and not very relevant. This might be the Sauds testing the waters for more formal ties between Saudi Arabia and Israel. But even that would not be a significant change, just formalizing existing relationships.

is the UAE one of the places that still practices slavery?

It was very clearly something Trump wanted going into the election.   The UAE is like "they will stop settlements" and Israel  is like "no we're not."   And nothing has fundamentally changed about their already good relations -- at least between their governments.

What this does is further demonstrate to your average Arab citizen that their governments are nothing but western pawns and strengthens Iran's position as the only independent Muslim nation in the region.

So good luck with that shiat.

Wow it almost sounds too good to be true

That's what the morning "news" idiots said this morning. One of them called it "stunning." Another called it, eh, can't quite remember. "Historic," maybe?

The "liberal" media. Meanwhile, no mention (as far as I could tell before I had to go to work) of the guy who asked President Useless Asshole about his lies yesterday. Like it never happened. And as far as most Americans are concerned, it didn't happen because they didn't watch it.

If you use the words, Trump was right, then you really really really have to re-examine your life choices.

Israel's promise to no longer annex territory means nothing without enforcement

its all "wink wink nudge nudge"

I think this signals that for some of the Gulf states, they have placed other priorities over the Palestinian issue. At least for now.

Abdulhameed Al-Ghobain, Saudi writer: "I am talking about public opinion. Today, the public is informed. There is a deluge [of opinions] against the Palestinian cause. It is no longer just public support for normalization and building ties with Israel. [Our] public has turned against the Palestinians in general. Unfortunately, the Palestinians have lost. The Palestinians have not contributed anything. We can say that they are emotional people whose behavior is governed by their feelings."
