Dated too. They closed at the end of July apparently.

Its a tasty burger.  Sad to see it go, but being several hundred miles away it isn't as if I was likely going to sample it again.  We are going to lose a lot of restaurants when all is said and done with Covid-19.  It is so hard for restaurants to stay profitable given the margins they run in normal times.

You know what's funny? I will put down a 16oz ribeye without batting an eye, with a buttery rich sauce, a potato the size of both my fists put together, several biscuits or rolls, and a pile of veggies, with a couple of pints...but a frippin' 8oz burger just seems like too much.

I just can't do the big burgers any more, and I have no idea why. I just lose...interest after about half. Yet, I will plow through Sofa King much Chinese take out that my housies are concerned for my safety. Like I get two orders of General Tso's so that they can have some, and I can have my own order, along with spare ribs, egg rolls, rice and skewers and dim sum. I have no idea what is up with that, but I look at that burger and go "ugh, I'll get something smaller." And then proceed to destroy chicken fried steak like it tried dating my sister.

I know that feeling.

Last year, in a pique of a curiosity, I ordered a Wendy's double. A *double*.

I felt logy about halfway through it. It was just too much meat - and Wendy's burgers aren't that big.

I think a quarter-pound burger is just right size and weight. Give me a single Whataburger w/ cheese and I'm good.

I'm with you.

The thicker burgers you get at places that do good burgers just feel like a lot of work.

Thin burgers are where it's at. Culver's, yo. Culver's.
