It's Utah. They believe that in 1978, God changed his mind about black people.

Their comment section has always been surprisingly liberal and sane compared to other ones.

I guess it's where all the same people in Utah go to congregate.

Fun fact, the Salt Lake Tribune was originally started to basically troll Mormons.

mpirooz: Unusually sane comments. One pointed out how it's important that he didn't just say he wasn't going to vote for Trump, but said he was voting for Biden/Harris. That's a big difference, and one that we need to see a lot more of from conservatives that have pull with independents and moderates.

The 'progressives' are still jerking off over the Pelosi hate thread below.

No.  Not this.  The enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy, no more, no less.

But H. Beam Piper's Calvin Morrison, PSP put it best:

"I would like my enemy to have as many enemies as possible."

Yeah, but he never changed His mind about the whole "treat others as you would want to be treated" thing.

So they still got a whole lot of 'splaining when they get to the Pearly Gates.

Sen. Harris matches Joe Biden's left-leaning political positions, much of which I do not agree with.

Shostie: Does anyone really think these Never Trumpers are going to start consistently voting for Democratic candidates from here on out?

That all depends on how well or poorly Democrats run the show.

Considering the other "newspaper" there is basically a glorified newsletter for the LDS, I'm not surprised.

This is something that I've been reflecting on with this and the Lincoln Project.

Does anyone really think these Never Trumpers are going to start consistently voting for Democratic candidates from here on out?

I mean, it's great that they're joining to fight but these are the same assholes as before.
