He's doing what he always does: cheats to win.  That's the only option he really has because he's a loser.

This is a federal crime.

Sure, just choke up the mail in the middle of a pandemic and schools reopening. What could possibly go wrong?

Deployed military relies on vote by mail.  It will be sweet watching Trump get frog marched off of the White House grounds and dumped on the sidewalk when he loses and refuses to leave.

The only thing Trump is funding is his Swiss bank account.

Trump doesn't want you to vote.

I can actually say this time that I submitted this with a better headline.  Oh well...

He has actually said out loud now that the reason he is refusing funding is because it will affect his chances in the election.

This should be broadcast loud and clear to every single person that will listen.

rcain: America is about to become the only developed Nation that doesn't have a public Postal Service

It's become quite clear that the GOP agenda truly is about making sure the average American has NOTHING AT ALL. They want an America where the people are uneducated morons living in abject poverty, worshipping the wealthy as gods and treating the right wing propaganda and lies as gospel. All while the wealthy take everything away from them, including their very freedoms. No education, no health care, no dirty "socialist" public service of any kind. Neo-Reactionary proponents like Bannon and Peter Theil have been saying that they want to impose a form of Corporate Feudalism in America, and they quite literally intend to make the commoner actual farking slaves, and it's looking like that agenda is coming to fruition

What now?  A lot of developed nations have private post offices.  The UK and Germany instantly come to mind.

That comes of as hysterical hyperbole but damn if I can refute any of that.

Malfeasance has been defined by appellate courts in other jurisdictions as a wrongful act which the actor has no legal right to do; as any wrongful conduct which affects, interrupts or interferes with the performance of official duty; as an act for which there is no authority or warrant of law; as an act which a person ought not to do; as an act which is wholly wrongful and unlawful; as that which an officer has no authority to do and is positively wrong or unlawful; and as the unjust performance of some act which the party performing it has no right, or has contracted not, to do.

The choice is simple. Do you want to eat, or do you want to vote?

2020-08-13 3:47:33 PM
The fix is in.

Seriously, this shows the GOP will stop at nothing. The problem is the courts are too slow on this shiat and it won't matter.

Any form of democracy relies on one thing more than the right of the people to vote: that leaders act within the norms of their respective offices. It never is just "is it legal", it has always been "is it right".

Yes, presidents have pushed the envelope at times. But until now, there has never been someone in the office of the president who thinks not "is it okay to this", "is it legal to do this", or "is it normal to do this" vs. "can I get away with this long enough that it doesn't matter"

The GOP had their chance and all but one of them (Romney) decided that violating those norms wasn't just okay but was expected and should be allowed.

And here we are: at the 11th hour before the death of our republic.

My father, a retired and disabled veteran in my 24/7 care, is lying in bed now suffering because his medicine just won't come, because Trump the Dickless is f*cking up the mail to steal another election.

Drop dead, Dogsh*t Donald.
