Actually, I expected a full slam into the guardrail. Guy did a great job maintaining control and ensuring it didn't collide with the fencing/rails on each side.

That looked fairly tame.

That looked like it couldn't have gone any better for the driver or the car.

Yeah, that's what a tire blown at that speed looks like when a very, very skilled driver is behind the wheel.

Put anyone else in that seat, not so much.

I was expecting a video of some asshole racing down a highway with traffic and rolling it across a few lanes.

This, was pretty much exactly how if should end.
Professional driver, closed track, minimal damage

Pretty lucky he was on a straight so he could put the car into a spin, had it been a corner he would have hit the wall in reverse.

That tire blew out with Huracán force.

I am Tom Joad's Complete Lack of Surprise: Hamster back behind the wheel?

Nope, it never went greasy-side-up, so clearly not Hammond's work.

This is why I don't drive my Lambo at those speeds. Helps that it sits on my desk.

I'd say the driver isn't having a Good Year.

I think it's time he re-tired.

It looks slightly less tame when the video is maximized on a 1920 x 1080 monitor, with the sound turned up, and the video started a minute or so before the tire blowout, so the viewer can have some illusion of being in the driver's seat.

Just slightly, though. A few rollovers would've been nice.

A few people are killed every year on that track. It's no joke.
